Muddy and I wanted to get a thread started to get things kicked off.

If you're a new grower, WELCOME!! We will be importing and creating more and more resources to help you sort things out, and get started on the right foot.

So, visit frequently! If you are starting your first grow, you may start it here, in this forum, where members and mods will be standing by, ready to help you through.

We would also like to have a New Grower FAQ's section. So, as New Grower questions come to you, ask them here and we will add them to our New Grower FAQ's section.

Feel free to post subjects for discussion or to make suggestions as to how we might improve the New Grower Forum.

AND, if you'd like to start a thread in the forum on anything related to New Growers, by all means, we encourage you to do so.

I am a first time grower and I seem to be having heat issues. Cannot get temp to stay down. it keeps running about 85 degrees. I raised the lights, opened the flaps on the tent, got fans. Is it all right to leave the door open to let heat escape?

yes it is ok to leave it open....what ever it takes to get you to optimum. do you have a fan bringing in fresh air?
