what was the res temp yesterday? PH and ppm reading will change with changes in water temp. I believe the calibration temp is 78degrees. it will vary either side of that.

The temp of the water was 75, same as it was when I tested it, like 5 minutes before posting =) I thought of that already and double checked to make sure lol. Could it be some kind of microbe growing or something? Maybe from the Aqua shield? Would they increase PPM?

Mmm I LURVE squirrel. Groundhog is pretty good, its a red meat too. They make great steaks, especially if you get a nice fat one. I had a 40lb gopher in my garden one year, let him get fat, then let him feed me

I lifted the light to 2' (0.6meters) last night before bed. This morning the RH is up around 35%(humidifier ran out will check it soon) and the Temps are much lower inside the tent now. Its holding a steady 75 now.

Unfortunately my PH pen broke, so while I wait for another I have to clod through with the ph test kit and colors.. and I'm colorblind lol.
But, this is the diesel berry this morning. No nute burn or anything yet, roots are starting to come out of the pot now. Doing much better after my little ph hiccup

Morning folks, opened the tent today and she's even bigger than yesterday. But I'm growing concerned a little. I'm not sure if this is just residual 'damage' from my previous ph imbalance, or is this a new issue, or am I just over worrying and seeing shit?
on top of that, I noticed the stem was split as well, what would cause that? is this normal or an issue I need to be on like now?
Is this causing the other funny coloration?

PPM was 778, I diluted with RO water back down to 650
PH is approximately 6.5ISH (using the test kit with the drops.. and I have color vision deficiency :dunno

Also added 8ml of Botanicare Silica Blast
There's no burnt tips or anything, but I know the ppm is a bit high for this stage. Though it seems to like it so far, I'm wondering if that's causing the issues above? Should I dilute or leave it?
Also, I raised the light up to 2' above the plant, but it seems to be content not growing taller so far, but that could be the other issues going on, would you guys suggest raising it another foot to see if it stretches a little? Right now all the new growth is just stacking on top of itself lol.

Get that res temp down before you get root rot! Put a frozen, water filled soda bottle in there. Get it down to at least 68. I let mine ride up and down 68-72 max, I try for a 70 average. I put a 2 litler bottle in my res ( holding about 12-14 gallons ) once a day. sometimes i need to toss in a 16 once bottle at night it help keep the temp down after lights out. I tie the top of my bottle to the side of the res so it doesn't float around banging the roots.
