New grower

Using Mephisto seeds and following their advice as much as possible.
Biobizz soils in air pots under 450w LED in grow tent. 18 days in and I have some healthy looking green, full leaved small plants. Added biotabs this morning, which should break down and start to feed the plant in the next 7 days or so. Mephisto suggest that this is as much as I need to do. I might attempt some LST next week - the plants don't look large enough for this yet.. As experienced organic growers, does this sound a reasonable plan, or am I missing something? Do I need extra?

Hi pal,, I guess some would argue the toss that this ain't organic but skipping over that, it's seems you have researched and planned and Mephisto them self's think you will get a good return by just using the biotabs (lots of threads on this in that section) so I would stick to simple for this grow.

Well I'd consider this organic for sure. You're using organic soil, with organic nutrients. There's many different ways to skin a cat.

:smoking:i knew I would open a can of worms with that comment.

So too clarify I am not in the some but I do believe thier are levels of organic growing, from out the box to those that make thier own soils, let them mature, make thier own teas etc, it's a huge subject I would suggest reading through hencos thread for a look a true organic grow.

I fall in the middle I guess.

So why did I suggest you just follow your plan, I guess how else you going to know what works or not, was it the bio tabs or that that organic super tea Hairy suggested I make that killed them lol.

I would start a thread in new growers and if you get any problems you can shout out.

From what I have seen and I have used them once (didn't like them) you might need to suppliment pk in bloom and cal/mag

Should be lots of threads in biotabs section to get an idea of problems faced
