You've got it exactly right! That's a perfectly controlled root zone environment. I watched Hansbrick pound out big plants grow after grow, I had to try them!

I am a newbie (when it comes to Autopots), this is my first grow with them....

But, If I was asked what is the most important bit of knowledge I have learnt or what advice to pass on to other new Autopot users.....

It has to be..... "Get a Bigger Tent" or "Reduce the number if plants you normally grow".

Autopots Rock.... When they take off, the growth is amazing, the stretch & spread is almost beyond comprehension.

And.... you can also run "Lighter Nutrient Levels" as the plants drink lots more.....

So.... my advice (given with the best intentions).... think ahead, or you will run out of space sooner than you think.

@Joe2 Uhhhh.... Just to emphasise.... when I say "run out of space"....

5 x Auto's 32 days old (avg canopy height to date 4'-8"), in a 4ft x 4ft x 6ft tent... all in autopots

Two too many!

Tell me about it Pop..... I posted this elsewhere, but make no apologies reposting here.... to emphasise the point for @Joe2 ...

This little girl is 40 Days old today, she is an Auto Mazar, grown Autopot, in a tent...

I have had to take her out of the tent, as she is just under 6ft in height, 10 ft circumference, and still growing.

So Joe.... Think carefully about how many plants to grow !​

I am going to try 4 in the 5x5. If any of them decide to get too big I'll just take them out of the tent and give them their own lights. Everything should be set up by the weekend.

He's right! Given enough light, 2 plants could be too much! My lights suck and I've gotten 5oz per plant x4! BUT, 2 could have done the same thing. Auto pots WILL grow big plants, just go easy on the nutes, this is not like any other hydro. I run at 500-600ppms max

Sure.......... Pure & Simple..... not enough room to stretch (width wise) I could fill the tent with 3 plants the way these autopots grow... (maybe even just 2).

The light is hitting a dense canopy, I like more light penetration... Normal growth, in standard pots the tent will take 4 OK.... I had an extra unexpected plant, so ended up with 5....

The growth with Autopots is insane, much more than standard grows, I am seriously looking at moving at least 2 of mine, to a separate location.
