Hey guys, I am new to growing. I purchased some auto flowering seeds and am looking for some first hand info on auto flowers. I know there's alot of info out there so I am reading everything I can. It will be nice to get some opinions and some guidance growing these babies. I look forward sharing some pics as they progress. I will also post a pick of my grow box and see if you guys think there's something I can do to improve it.

Welcome! You going soil or hydro? Also what kind of seeds are you gonna grow?
I will be using soil and indoors for now cause winter is fast approaching. But I will be growing outdoors also. The seeds I purchased were dwarf lowflyer from cropkingseeds. I will be buying something different I think next round though. My grow box is only 2 ft tall so I need to keep my plants under that. I've been reading an article on here about how to get bigger yields in small spaces and I went and got alot of that stuff today. The only thing I wasn't sure of was are air stones what you need to charge you water with o2?

Air stones and soil? I havent ever heard of it, but I see where the theory has substantial merit based on principle alone. Charge your water with o2 before you water I am guessing? However I don't know if it works like that, the bubbles don't last very long in the water IE they pop so I don't know if the o2 would stay in the water long enough for the roots to abosorb it. Do you have a link for the thread you were reading, I am interested in checking it out.

Hmmmmm I am no expert on the disolving of air into water, so I am SOOO down with seeing how it works. I feel all giddy cuz you liked my posts, I am a nerd to the max and if you or Tang or Seymour like anything I write or post I feel like a celeb is talking to me hehehehe
If he is succsessful I will probably go back to soil lol, the only reason I made the switch to the dark side of DWC is because through my expereince canna plants love o2 in there roots above almost all else(except light) so I wanted to find the way to get the most o2 to the roots and light to the leaves. That is why I run 2 pretty big airstones and pumps in each bucket. Just my own theory I have no idea if putting more air does anything I have just always seen the results more air=better plants. So if there is a way to get the benefits of organic soil and the beneficial environment that can be made PLUS o2 enrichment for the roots, yeah I AM IN!!!!! When I grew in soil I was just as OCD about it being 100% organic and creating a microbial structre that could be traced down to almost the single cell level as I am about PH and PPMs now.
Have I not already said I LOVE THIS FORUM
