Growing in coco using cocoa a and b nuts. 3 dedo haze auto and 1 glueberry og auto. Plants around 3 weeks old atm. 600w hps that has been between 16 and 21 inches from plants non air cooled hood. temps get on hot side but within tolerable range.

Was giving 15ml coco a and coco b last few feedings with 10 ml rhizotronic. I left for a week and had a friend tend to the garden. During this time possible that ph was off some or some other mistake was made.

Leaves are yellow and burning in some spots..also couple small holes. Please see pics and advise. thanks .

First time grower here. appreciate all insights.

Hi there Chief! :D

It 's not looking too bad - i'd have guessed about 20 days.
You're feeding it, so it's not lack of food.

I'm leaning towards a PH issue.

If you're not checking your PH in coco ... I would typically go in at 5.8ph (if you've got an EC meter too ... i'd probably be at around 1.2EC at this age .. get the EC before you add nitric acid for the PH)

Hope this helps , but don't panic - it's not looking terrible :D

Good luck!

I'm by no means one of the pro's , but I'm thinking some over watering going on and some light/heat stress happening.

Thanks for the replies mates. Actually pretty sure you are both right and its a ph and a light stress issue. found out that my friend did not ph the water while i was away..simply was using 10 ml coco a 1oml coco b and 15ml rhizotronic per 10l. No ph down or ph check was given so i suspect ph was prob towards 6.8 range. Also the plants grew while i was away and the light hood was not adjusted higher. It was as close as 15 to 16 inch and is not air cooled even though i have oscilating big fan moving back and forth and a small clip fan pointed right under the wing. Temps have always been on high side somewhere around 29 or 30 in the tent at times but usually 26 to 28 near the actual canopy.

My guess is light was too clise too strong drying out leaves too fast and the ph being off prob destroyed ehatevwr buffer the coci had.

I have moved the light around 23 inches away from thr plants atm to give them time to recover since they are autos and i gave them a good watering last night with a ph around 6. will get it dialed in to 5.8. I went with 20 ml cocoa a and 20 ml coco b and 10 ml rhizotronic as i think are big enough..hope everyone agrees with what ive done and other than that im leaving them alone as they dont look that bad to me but wanted to nio minor problem before became a big one.

A little tidbit of advice I picked up from some of @Rollin_along posts is to try to fill the soil up a little closer to the tops of the pots. I've done that myself and noticed a better root structure at the end of the grows when I check them. It's only a couple inches, but it's worth it.

For sure...i def could have filled the pots closer to the top..plants look better this afternoon..i will wait a few days to see if how they respond and post pics.

Ive upped nuts to 20ml coco a and 2p ml coco b and 10 ml.rhizotronic per 10l since nobody seems to think this is nutrient burn which was my main worry when i first saw them. Since noone thinks they suffer from.nutrient burn ive upped nuts a lil as i think they can take it and will recover better. Hopefully this id way to.go

If you do not have one get a good soil probe to test the PH in the root zone where it counts the most. The Accurate 8 is a known good tool. Make slow corrections over a few days to bring it in line. The other thing to do is the hot hand test. Hold the back of your hand to the light at the canopy level. If your hand gets uncomfortably warm move the lights up until it does not feel uncomfortable.

I wouldn't up the nutes until they recover. Just my 2cents
