Hi all.

Im new to all this autoflowering but have grown photo's in the past we are going back 7-8 years ago

I am in the process of setting a room up and already have some fastbuds beans ready to crack x3 GSC x3 Blackberry x3 Pineapple Express

Room is 5ft x 3ft & 9ft high
Light will be a 600w hps
6" rvk and filter & 4" rvk intake

Only thing im not sure about is how many autos i can fit in that space & what size pots & what pots to use smart pots,airpots,regular pots.

Hey great to meet you!! Though i havent grown any Fastbuds seed myself i have certainly seem some monsters...i would stop by their category and surf some journals to get a feel for size.

Welcome to afn ,and good luck growing just started my first fast buds strain 6shooter so I'm new to the genetics to but like 912 said they do grow big and a lot of happy growers rock there genetics.

912 i had a look at the fastbuds category before i placed my order and i must say there is some fantastic looking ladies in there mouth watering content.

Need4Weed i like the look of the fabric ones too and at less than half the price of air pots i will give them a try.

DankstyleJ i will pop in and have a look over your 6 shooter grow i heard it was there best yeilding plant FB do.

hey buddy welcome to afn. how many plants depends on how big they are likely to get and how big you want them. if you want choice then go for smaller pots and more of them. or just get dwc buckets and fill the space with 2 or 3 monsters. i know those gsc can get pretty big not sure about the others though. id check some grows out for your chosen strains to gauge the likely size before making a decision. also you can tag people by putting an @ infront of the name @EvilScotsman like that. happy growing amigo : )

Nice to have you here!! We've been waiting on ya! Hahaa! Sounds like you will have a solid set up! Pot size is a personal choice. The old school rule of thumb is 1 gal for ever month you will have the plant alive. I personally use 2 and 3 gal pots. Ive used 5 gal pots but felt they were over kill for the strains I grew. For your setup Id use 2 gal pots or close to it. Tag me when you start your journal!

Got some plagron light mix today to give it a try i normally use canna terra but thought i would try some thing new also got a bag of perlite.

Groom will be going up in a few days just need to choose a pot size im either going to use 3gal or 5gal.

Welcome to our family!

Looking forward to following your journey into the world of autos. You will fine, if you haven't already, that there are many of us on here that grow both photos and autos. I typically use 2 or 3 gallon containers for my autos.

Please tag me as well when you get your grow journal going. I certainly would like to follow along.

Brother @StickMan great to see you! I agree 2-3 gal are my choice for autos and 5 gal for photos. I find the fabric pots a bit simpler to use. they don't seem to dry out as quickly and are easier to water. YMMV.
My wife loves the FastBuds GSC, I have to order more beans!
