hi, make sure the cfl is the right light spectrum. 5000-6500k is for veg, 2700-3000k is for flower... if it the light it produces is pure white, it is daylight(veg) if it is yellowish glowing it is for flowering. you want to start of with veg for about 20-22 days until it begins to flower, and use the soft light cfls. you will need a lot more than 18w for flowering... probably 100+ watt per plant if you want any decent yield... but around here 100 watt cfl (four 23 watt) costs $5 at home depot. if you can do 300w per plant it would be great, if spread out well it could be a big yielder.

cfl is very good for growing autos though. personally i considered cutting off some fan leaves if they are blocking the bottom, because of cfl terrible light penetration. or put lights on the side if possible

Dee take the cover off your seedlings and let them see the light and just give them a little spray of water to keep them moist on top mate they should only need watering every few days or even longer depending on the pot size and what light are you useing it'll tell you on the side of the bulb bro :peace:

Guys I just checked there and there seems to be a pin hole sized hole in one of my true leaves... is this gonna be a major issue ?
