What soil did you get ? you gotta get the good schtuff like blue said the biobizz light mix would be good for you til you get closer to flowering then you can start adding nutes...did you get any nutes yet ? also get the pictures up man otherwise everyone is taking stabs in the dark trying to help you...ya know

whats it say on the bulb not the wattage...is it 6500k (veg) or 2700k (Flower)

Nice info! It's a blue light which is good for the veg stage - for flowering you should pick up a 2700k CFL which will fit into your existing socket or reflector

You can stick with the blue for at least a few weeks seeing as you have it in there, i've said it before but i've used 2700k bulb from start to finish with good results. I've also used maxibright CFLs and they've been good to me.

Bare in mind that over time and use the lamp will lose lumen output and seeing as you inherited this one, there's no telling how "fresh" it is. I'll tend to use a CFL for a couple of grows before replacing it!

Ok, so do I just ask for one of those bulbs at a garden store ? Sorry guys I'm a complete amature.
All this good weather I think I might stick them in the garden for some fresh air... Maybe not actually incase of bugs lol

Have you access to a hydro shop if so just go in and ask or you can buy of the net Dee , request sorted bro :buds:

You can find some good deals on the big CFLs.Try the hydrofarm 200watt ..but just know mine use the mogul socket so you need different hanger but they are cheep 9-10 dollars.I found my 2 at big lots 38.50 with tax.

Thats the puppy , you can get these in 250w as well thats what i use to veg for the first wk normally but just check the fitting you have just now is compatable the big one is an E40 fitting
