New to DWC and having an issue

So I am just over a week into veg. with my 2 Blue Dream in the DWC. I have been keeping ph at 5.8 and it has never gone more then .2-.3 from there. Heres what im using
Advanced Sensi grow A+B
2ml/liter
Cal-mag+ 1tsp/gallon
PPM 750-800
R/O Water @ 5ppm

So I went to do a fresh res. change tonight and noticed that I am having an issue that looks to be maybe cal-mag but I am not sure. I have never run DWC before.
I did the res. change a little different to see if it will make a difference but would like some ones input about this.

New res. change
GH Grow 2tsp/gallon
GH Micro 2tsp/gallon
GH Bloom 1tsp/gallon
Cal-Mag+ 1 1/2 tsp/gallon
P.H. 6.0
PPM 960-1000
Water Temp: 74F and below
Room Temp: 78F
Room Humidity: 64%

Growth was going very well and roots are bright white and growing like crazy.

id say your PH is to high for veg ?.you need to be under 5.8 until bloom & drifting upto 6.1 (+3) is way to high unless in the bloom stage .Also your PPM's seem way to high at 1000 :hot:& you need to always add the cal/mag 1st to the res & let it mix well (even more with RO water as a buffer) .Its hot stuff that wont mix with the other stuff unless fully diluted .

I would take some nutes out & add back water until you get the PPM's to half what your running now (600 max) ,then set the PH to just below 5.8 ... Maybe even make a new batch with cal/mg added in 1st ?.

Cant say what the deff in the pic is but i'll bet they are the issues causing it bro:group:

Yeah the cal-mag was added first and bubbled for about 5 min before adding other nutrients. I went half strength with nutrients but like you said it seems high so I will take some out and add plain r/o water until it is about 600 where it was before change Thanks Vira I will bring my ph down to where I had it at 5.8 or a little lower to maybe 5.7.

:High 5::thumbs: 5.7-5.8 (just under) is ideal TD ... that deff looks well set in,when/how long ago did you notice it ? ...did it only appear since this last res ?.It could be cal/mg deff but I would wait to see if it stops after adjusting the res .If it gets worse & everything else like ph/ppm are ok the up the cal/mg a couple of ml as well maybe :smokebuds:

monitor your PPM as much as poss ... if it goes up ,its too high & if it drops ,its too low (barring any other ec swaying issues ?) ...tweak the PPM'sto find the perfect spot where shes drinking / feeding at the same rate & PPM's will stay the same :dance2:

Thanks Vira for all the help much appreciated +rep for helping a guy out, K well I just did another change to start over. Now ppm is 550 for both and ph is 5.7 for both I went with 1/4 strength nute's and it seems perfect. I will check it again in the morning and adjust ph back if need be. I noticed it starting 2 days ago but it was hard to spot to me because im not used to the led light and it looks different but when I brought them out of tent for res change I was like SHIT that's not good.. I learned something though so that's good I just want this to be a fun experience because I would love to do more. Also how fart should my LED ''240watt'' be from the tops?

As far as my ppm and ph I have a continuous digital monitor in them that also tells me the recorded high and low of ph ,ppm and temp so lucky for me monitoring is somewhat easy just got to stay on top of if and with my flower room issue right now im about ready to freak.

2 days is cool ,no long term stress .sounds like a decent res now too.LED around 24" high for a plant that size i guess ?.

You got the kit to tell you exactly how strong she wants the feed there mate ... PH usually goes the opposite to the ppm when to strong or weak .Get it right & you are in the sweet spot & she will tell you by just looking really happy :stylez rasta smoke:I dont go on what the bottle says & as a rule up PPM's 100 each week (but adjust slightly if rising or falling) that usually keeps her in the right zone until they peak & you have found the max .Over feeding is as bad as underfeeding bro ,you gotta find the Goldilocks bit :smokebuds:good luck

K, that's about where I have lights. I remember reading something about LED's being about 2 feet due to the spectrum needing to mix and so on.... I only plan to veg these until ladies in flower room are done which is about 2-3 more weeks so a 4 week veg. So what your saying is by week 4 I should be around 8-900 or something like that?

completly depends on the plant(s) .Some will like high /some lower ppm's .So as they grow so does there feeding habits & you have to find & keep her in that zone ... The mazar I grew went upto 2.2 ec max ....but the dragon ive just finished was maxed out at 1.6 ?. The staryder im growing now has stayed at 1.6 for the last week & will this week as stretch stops & bud weight gain starts ....soon she will prob be at 1.8 but maybe not ?. All depends how hungry,happy they are & how fast they wanna grow ?.

check those 550 ppm's & see where they go in the next 24hrs & go from there :stylez rasta smoke::Coolio:
