New to DWC and having an issue

Hey Vira, my ph has been pretty stable at 5.6-5.7 and PPM's are staying around 550. The roots are growing like crazy and issue has slowed down but im not seeing much new green growth above....Here are the roots as of today. They couldn't be any more white and healthy looking imo I just wish things would start looking better above. one of the girls is not to bad just slight discoloring while the other is a lot worse .

I really wish that I could use some of my Roots Excelerator in them but is has a bad reaction to air stones and causes a algae looking layer and foam around the bucket

I guess recovery depends on damage/lockout (how long the ph was out ect) ... if roots are growing & there no worse then give it a while & just keep monitoring the PH/EC .... If the PH is good she can feed & recover ..they look ready for 5.7-5.8 range as well TD.

im getting PH dropping right now as the ppm are a bit high & slowly rising . Just made a fresh res to bring it down 50 ppm & should be good now (I hope) ...also had cal/mg deff come on quickly & bad (main reason for res change).,..so I upped the cal/mg 5ml from the last amount & hope thats good too .I'll be checking every few hours to make sure stuff is in check & gauge if shes happy ,you get the idea !:smokebuds:

Thanks, I just added 700ml plain ph's r/o water to both of them because they are drinking a bit now...

Hey Vira, just wanted to give you a quick update on the girls. They are now showing new green growth and the PH is staying at 5.8 and PPM is 700ish. The roots are showing more growth and still bright white and to my surprise their is absolutely no gunk in the buckets and they smell clean even with 73-75F temp. The top view picture is a bit blurry but you can see new growth.
