Grow Mediums New to dwc need help asap !!

I wasnt at first but when u told me about the tea , i dumped out the rez and made a new bucket .

1 tbsp of Gh micro
1 tbsp of Gh grow
1 tbsp of Gh bloom
2 tsp of Micro brew (fox farms)
2 tsp of Gh Cal-Mag = 640 ppm and 5.7 ph and im using a 5 gallon bucket

And ya she looks a lot better now , but thats my recipe, what do u guys think , do i need more if of something or less of something in that recipe ????

Well today was a very eventful day , i had my cousin come to town . He is from Cali , and he was the one who first introduced me to growing seeing his setup and smoking some of his weed i fell in love lol.

So i brought him to my top secret spot , well its nt secret any more lol . But any way he looked my grow over and my equipment and so on . He specializes in hydro growing and mostly outside . And he said everything was good except he seems to think that my main problem is my rez temps . And he said that i should of started with the GH hydro kit , that has everything thing in it that i would need as far as nutrients .

And he thinks that i need a chiller or i need to be able to keep ice bottles or ice packs in the rez to keep it cool my rez temps are about 70°-75°. But i work 12 hrs a day and couldnt do the ice packs , and i dnt hv the money to spend on a chiller at this point or any more nutes right now pay day is 2 weeks away lol.

Or he said i should try Hempy style , or even Coco . Cause i wont hv to worry to much about keep the rez cool .

What's the temp of your res? I've got some of that Skunk Works product lykaboss recommended coming. My res has been in the low 60Fs all winter but temp is an issue in the Summer. I have a res I built from a 25 qt. Coleman Party Stacker Cooler. Not a lot of insulation but enough for my application. pop22 insulated his res and was able to keep the res cool for close to 24hrs with some frozen water bottles. I'd try the bacteria additives first but as your're growing in a bucket you can easily insulate it and toss in an ice bottle. As far as nutes go I follow the directions on the label for ratios and adjust the ppm as needed. I haven't used the products you have listed but you've hit the right notes.

Ok thanks , my bucket temps are 69° to no more than 74° . I think my problem mostly was due to me under feeding for so long . And she just gt off to a bad start , and with autos the better the veg stage , then the more u gt out of your plant . Cause veg stage for an auto is critical to a good beginning .

So i just think ima see it thru to the end , and just get ready for round 2 and gt all the things i need . And just learn as much as i can from this plant .

My buddy built a chiller by using an old mini fridge and piped water through the freezer part. Used rubber grommets where it went in and out.. worked very good for 4 bubble buckets and kept temps at 67

Thanks think diffrent , i think i may just go with the water bottles and try to get some insulation for my bucket and see how this goes . Cause i dnt want to gv up after seeing some of these monster grows lol.

Yeah I agree it was under fed. When mine were that size I was at about 700 ppm and was still needing more. Undercurrent is a title different but close. I was fighting to keep 80 gallons cool with my chiller but I put my air pumps outside and now my chiller actually shuts off sometimes and water temps stay at 66 to 67. I also figured I was pumping co2 enriched air into my water so the fresh oxygen is much better.
Anyways your lady is looking better. Keep feeding her like a starving fat kid

Thanks Think diffrent , and 81 camero and u to Jack mc, i think i just gt panicky when just started to yellow cause if the under feeding i was doing , but she is looking a lot better .

The tips on the new growth is kind of starting to burn i think , she is at 625 ppm and ph 5.7 , but she definitly is looking better
