Grow Mediums New to dwc need help asap !!

Ok thanks u guys . I had to lower the ppm from 375 ppm down to 325 ppm because on the new growth the tips were starting to burn . So im guessing it was to strong i dnt think this plant likes a lot of nutrients

But she is starting to flower , but she is still small , but thats ok cause she just starting showing signs of sex like a couple days ago so it should pick up a little from this point on

Im going to post picks when lights come on .

And thanks so much guys for stopping in every now and then to check on me

Well today i opend the tent when lights came on , and my plant is like turning a light green color .

Ok let me go bk to last night , when i came home from work my exhaust fan was off and my temps were in the low 80°s. My wife said she turned the fan off so she could do her hair. And forgot to cut it bk on , so there were in that condition for about 11 hrs .

So thats when i noticed the roots were brown and ph was at like 6.7 and ppm was at about 360 ppm. So i changed the rez and diluted ppm bk down to about 325 ppm cause my tips on the new growth leaves were starting to burn .

But when i pulled the plant out in better light , nt under the leds i noticed the plant was kind of light green in older leaves . Sorry for the rambling , but here are pics CAM01171.jpgCAM01170.jpgCAM01170.jpgCAM01172.jpg

Shedrit, How old is your plant? I grow in DWC and I'm willing to bet that your ppm are too low. Judging from the size of the plant I'd guess that your plant can handle close to 600 ppm. You may not have had nute burn but you could be starving your plant. I had tip damage from starving seedlings at the beginning of my current grow. That with the color of the plant and I'd guess that your plant is hungry. After the seedling stage but before flowering I feed 500-650 ppm. I've never fed an established plan as low as you're feeding yours. Don't freak though you should be able to correct it in a day or two by upping the feed.

Yeah definately bumb up that ppm. Could be also a starting potassium def if the tips are turning brownish and the ppm is that low. 600 ppm would be my choise also at this stage. Should be totally safe. Babies still look pretty ok so this is still well under control.

Ok guys do i need to change the rez and make up new rez, or can i just add add more nutes to the rez

Its day 24 from sprout so about 3 wks old

The rule of thumb is change it out every 7-10 days @ manufacturer instructions.
Or after you have added by volume approximately 1/2 of the H2o you started with during your daily "top off"
Assuming your rez isn't in need of change, you can add the additional nutes to bring the ppm up when you top off the rez.

When I am trying to up my ppms I mix the feed into a 16oz cup of water and then pour a little at a time into the res and measure the ppms after each pour. Good luck.

Well i took the ppm from 325 ppm to 550 ppm and now i just gv her some time .

Nice. Can'rt wait to see how it fares.:goodluck:

Thanks, well she has perked up a little .
5.6 ph went to 5.7ph
533ppm went up to 540 ppm , in 6 hrs since last time i checked

Here is a couple pics of my Opium plant from Paradise Seed Company thats been flowering in my flower box under a 400 watt hps on 12/12 for about 3 wks. Its only made to hold one 5 gallon bucket . Its just a 2x2x6 box i got CAM01175.jpgCAM01176.jpg
