New Grower New to growing. Need suggestion on a possible setup.

The ebay bulbs on page you linked to are the same as the ones I have for my grow (I have a 105w 6400k in right now and a 105w 2700k on order) and they don't get very hot at all, hopefully yours won't either. Your closet is a similar size to mine, although mine's probably slightly wider and it's a good size for one plant imho so that it doesn't get all cramped up in there. You've got a nice budget, I think mine was half of that altho I'm adding to it as I go along as not got an exhaust/filter system set up yet.

Just a little update. Got most of the stuff installed now, will finish it off tomorrow and will most likely germ my seed Sunday :dance:

Using wrapping paper for a temp means of reflecting some light. Dunno if it will actually do anything lol

All in good time.

Edit= I also got my PH pen today. . . It smells like cat piss.

hi paronic,gd look with the grow,i done a similar grow not long ago it was my first,3 pineappleexpress under 250w cfl it was sweet mani wud defo scrog or lst your baby to make the most of the lumes u get Good luk bruda

Niceee! Loving the op brother, it's really coming together. That AutoMazar is going to treat you so well, just wait until the DP guys get keyed in you're growing an AutoMazar, you'll have folks like Hazy and insert name here following along and offering insight if need be. I really think because of your patience, time and due dilligence this grow is going to be way better than expected man. Can't wait to see the finished cab.. by this time next week I'm expecting soil breaking shots brother!! Yeah!

I think I'm going to need all the insight i can get, I have so many questions. My main question ATM is what size pot should i be growing in and can i put my germed seed straight into that pot or do i have to got threw the different sizes of pot? I have the 2 different types of medium you suggested(TBH i pretty much have everything you suggested to order). I have a bucket in the garden that i think is about 10-12 litres. Would that be viable or should i be looking at something bigger? I am also unsure on the whole feeding regime.

Just dropped my seed into a shot glass of water and its floating. Do i force it under the water or is it fine floating?

It should sink when it has taken in enuf water to germinate,you could put it between 2 sheets of wet kitchen paper or tissue in a warm dark place until it pops a tap root then your off:booya:

Good news!! a tiny little sprout has started to emerge from the seed YIPPEE!!
Really need this answering. Can i put my seed straight into the bucket or should i go threw the stages of different size pots. If am to plant straight to the bucket i would fill it will all mix and then use about a 4inch pots worth of light mix in middle to put my germd seed in. Whats the most viable way of going about this? ideally i will need to be putting this seed into soil withing the next 24hours I'm guessing?

With an auto bro, shock will slow things. Some people use a cup cutting bottom out then placing it in final pot.
