Outdoor New to outdoor, need some info and assessments of my game plan

I've read that autos dont flower by age but by root growth. I've also seen people imply that autos dont flower until they start to go root bound.. Whats going on here? I plan to grow 40 autos(different types, will do reports) outdoors in the ground.. I planed to use a mix of pro mix with natural soil and i have 18 bottles of advanced nutrients. It will be another lil while before i can germ them and they must be done by late sept.. I'm also doing some early photos but i was hoping for a quick crop with the autos. We have a short grow season so I must not falter.

Pots are not an option. Growing is not really done around here and the popo's arnt really on the look out but I think its foolish to do something so noticeable.I have kids so im taking every precaution to stay safe

Would it be best to do the "brown dirt warrior" method? Dig a hole, poke holes in a black garbage bag, place the bag in the hole and fill it with pro mix or in my case half pro mix and half natural soil with some fine and coarse lime to level out the ph.. Or could I skip on the bags?

So as long as my autos finish fast there shouldn't be any issue drying them in mid summer. I am confined to a 2 man camo tent in the cover of thick brush for drying operations. I was thinking about doing the leave the leafs on to block the sun and and hang outside method for my autos

I have good information on my photo strains, Been planing this for a few years While growing killer bud inside. I know my photos will be done at the end of sept at the latest.. Early oct around here is pushing it.. Its not going to be warm when i chop them.. Hanging outside most likely wont get the job done.. I have to dry in a tent outside in coldish weather.. now how is that gonna work? I know of these little moisture control packs that just suck up all the water in the air but my gf says you cant get that chem in canada anymore.. I used to dry my shrooms with them.. Good old wild harvested Liberty bells.. WOW!!

I've grown in holes with bags and without. I didn't notice any difference. Too bad that you have to dry outside. That is definitely going to change the taste and smell of your buds and not for the better. But if its just for your own personal smoke you might not care too much.

On a side note, that's awesome that you can pick magic mushrooms where u r. I have some friends that pick em in the Fraser valley most years.

What type of soil are we talking about? A wet soil, clay, loamy, rocky, what? Each one needs different approuches. What is the oreintation with the sun? Does the patch face south, or where? What latitude are you? Dry or wet climate? You need better advice from freinds. Autos flower according to the number of days. If you disturb the roots transplanting you may stunt the plant, and with autos they rarly recover enough for a full yeild. If you plant the first of may, you can harvest around the middle of july. Replant and harvest again in sept.. Do not listen to freinds, get advice about autos here.
