if your planning on using soil, mix it 2 parts soil with one part coco. I've been running that mix for several grows nows and it works very well. I've also adopted a no till style, I just cut out the stump and replant in the hole. The plant in the pic is the 5th to grow in this auto pot in the same soil. And it is feed a nutrient solution. I'm using Megacrop but other nutrients will work also.

Also, it depends how your seeds were stored kept cool and dry they can sprout 20 years later. If not 2-3 years and they are no longer viable.

Hi All ,stumbled on this site while searching info on Auto Pots ,I'm new to growing and started with a DWC setup but there are just to many things involved ,got root rot and other complications so changing to Autopot system .I'm NZ so some products I see on line arn't available here .So any advice about the best way to go about getting started would be great !!

You will love them... please check out the grows of @2Stoned2Care , he smashes it out the park and into the next field with the auto pots.

Cheers man ,yeah have found a great community here .My mate and I started our grows on the same week ,his Autopot me DWC He's already jared up I'm in my 5th month even though I followed nute sked ,mind you I did get root rot early on ,trimmed the stuffed roots off ,made adjustments to my setup and kept going .That hickup probably cost me 6weeks .Thanks for the toke

Hi Guys ,just wondering ,it's late spring here and I was thinking of getting some plants on the go outside until they were big enough to flip to 12/12 then move to my tent for flower thru our summer ,this would save me $$$ on my power for heating which is high .Any thoughts on this ??

Cheers mate ,yeah thought of that got me Neem oil ,KILL THE BUGS!!!!the only real pests here are ,Aphids,Shield beetles, snails.Never seen any of these Turps and others I read about .
