Im still working on my setup. So far I have my 4x4x8 box built, still need to paint and seal. Just got my Mars II 1200w Led in yesterday, not going to hang it untill done with everything inside box don't want to get new light dirty or scuffed up. I'm still trying to figure out how to ventilate the box, I built it around a window so I got plenty of options (Any Suggestions ???). I will be growing autos Hempy Style in 4 gallon buckets. Will be using GH Flora 3 part nutes with some additives

Thank You All for the kind welcome and recommendations as I will for sure check them out. If anyone has a suggestion how I should vent my box (Built Around A Window) would be great.

Its just an old double sash standard sized window in my spare bedroom.

I also have access to basement for intake if I wanted to cut a hole in the floor but I don't heat my basement and it gets pretty cold down there during midwest winters not cold enough to freeze anything but fairly cold.

Welcome Eddie! Can you put an air conditioner in the window? Even if you don't want to run A/C you can probably get an old A/C unit and remove the guts so you can vent into the box. Personally I vent into the same space my tent is in through carbon filters.

I'm thinking carbon filters also and maybe a small window ac to cool it down in summer months. I'm thinking of recirculating the air in the bedroom I built the box in by cutting a hole in the bottom of box and ducting in a blower fan to suck in cool fresh air. And cutting a hole at the top of box to duct output of warm air from carbon filter. I keep this bedroom room @ 75 to 78 degrees pretty much year around. Like I said maybe a small window unit to cool box in summer. I'm thinking it would help cooling and heating the whole bedroom also instead of just the box. What do you all think.

I'd suck the air out of the grow box, keeping it under vacume. If you pressurize it more odor will escape. I'd definately throw a small A/C unit in the window. Then you'll be able to contain the air and odor in the room. You can then control the temp & RH in the room subsequently controlling the atmosphere in the grow space. Good luck!
