So just looking to get started. Would these things be basically all of the "stuff" I need?

I got liquid culture syringes. They call them isolated spore. Supposed to speed it up a couple weeks and be more like a clone then a seed in plant terms

Hey JP, I think your drying method is going to work but, I would highly suggest looking into a food dehydrator. Especially on your first run. The dessicants will work but it might be hard to tell when they are completely dry. Just an idea.

Thought about that but that's more $. My oven actually has a dehydrator option I thought about giving a try. Gonna give this way a shot even if I have to leave them longer. Figure there's no such thing as too dry If it doesn't work I'll try the oven and if I blow that I'll have a dehydrator for the next try

Moving along pretty good now 5 days from 1st pins until now, some of these are bigger then my fingers. The fuzzy base of the stems is supposed to mean they need more air so I cut the slit all the way across the bag

Nice! Good luck! I'm gonna be starting some GT probably this weekend. Get the bags or gonna go with tubs? Spores or cultures?

Figured I'd run 2 bags with 1/2 syringe and try to my hand at innoculant in a couple mason jars.
