Nice! Good luck! I'm gonna be starting some GT probably this weekend. Get the bags or gonna go with tubs? Spores or cultures?

Stick with the bags at through 1st flush then tub em if I can find one that the bag wil just drop into snugly, cut the bag to almost substrate. Got spore syringes to start. Hoping to em to produce in the mason jars to keep it going. Will only be in it for about 130.00 cheap enough for playing with.

Can't wait for the thread. Think I'm in about $160 for 4 bags and 4 syringes. Syringes have 2 uses though. Only other stuff I needed I had at home. Alcohol, gloves, mask, scissors, and that's it. I'm sure there's cheaper ways but if I can get a harvest I'm kinda good with that

Yeah, me too on having almost everything else. Daughter has a pressure cooker next door so sterilization on the jars of nutrients is handle. Just gonna drill 2 holes micropore tape one ans rtv the other for a port.

You think if after the initial breakup it was laid on it's side to completely colonate and just put in a tub before it's opened for fruiting the larger surface area would give much more per flush?

Not sure. I think if you let it fully colonize in the bag, the mycelium is supposed to out compete most contamination that will attack it in the bag or a tub. Theoretically... Most things say you can go into a tub with a layer of coco on top, about a week after I shook mine up
