Grow Room Nirvana Blue Mystic Auto Fem

I have some blue mystic that I am currently smoking that has been curing for about a month. It is sneaky, super smooth smoke, it does not hit you for a few minutes so it is easy to over indulge.

I started 3 Nirvana Blue Mystics myself at the same time you started these. Mine were above the soil on Feb 1st. Growing in 1 gallon pots with OF soil straight out of the bag. Each of the 3 is very distinct phenotype and now after the fact in doing some research I have seen a couple of posts around saying Nirvana has had problems keeping the BM stable. They all started out the same till about the Day 17 mark at which one plant shot out her first pistols! 1 more a couple of days later and the last one was maybe at Day 22. At this point they started taking different roads. The first flowering plant did a small stretch at topped out at around 15" tall, the second plant has stayed about a foot tall while the third is over 20" tall. I have fought what I believe is a cal/mag problem the whole grow with all 3 plants. Going by the trichromes I took the first plant down on Day 51 yield was 100grams wet. The next plant is no where near ready, she is really packing on the weight and for being the smallest of the 3 plants she is already ahead of the one I already chopped on yield I believe. She looks just like the one in your picture from today. The last plant which is the tallest plant is going to finish very well I believe. But she is so far behind at the same time. She has 12 colas that are going to fill out very nice...but I am just waiting on her to real start filling out. She is also the only one with a lot of purple developing in her buds. I will say the smell from the first plant is crazy good...very heavy berry smell. The other 2 have not really started to smell yet. For what its worth these have been the first time I have worked with auto flowering plants.

Baby Blue is going into her 3rd week from seed and she's a bit more "Indica" shaped than Big Sis. She's under a 200w "Blue" cfl and she's just coming along nicely. Big Sis shot out of the soil like a cannon. She started to show her pistils @ the 3rd week and stretched enough to LST her main cola. I too have had a cal-mag issue (?) from the start of her FLOWERing phase. After growing almost a full year w/o any plants giving me a bit of trouble. Big Sis is keeping me on my toes.

You're right about the browned tips BayLee ... maybe just needs a little higher concentration of 'N' ... have I mentioned I am clueless in the face of deficiencies ... my plants generally look like they have been ridden hard and put away wet by the time they are done ... could be yours are heading in that direction ...

I can see why Nirvana's Blue Mystic is so popular. The low odor is a plus and trying to see if they'll turn "Blue" is also a challenge.
My 1st attempt is Big Sis. Baby Blue will benefit from what I've learned from her sister. I also have another bean ready to go. That grow will be some time this summer.

One Big Happy Cannabis Family

First picture is of the Super Box with IT aka Nirvana Freebie Bean Grow on the left and Big Sis flowering up. They are greener than the photo shows.
Second picture is Baby Blue all alone now in the Den's Closet Grow.

Temps in the Den are running 78F-82F with lights on and RH @ 30%. Baby Blue seems to like it.
IT is now in the Super Box. First there is space for it and IT is now large enough to get the lighting from the 300w Dual Spectrum. IT is not directly under the light. IT's enjoying the environment so far.

All is happy in the Cannabis Family. Cross our fan leaves...there is still a long way to go...

Big Sis Trichomes Report

Big Sis is under 60 days from seedling pop. Checked her trichomes this AM. The trichomes are cloudy and there are 1,000,000's of them. :jaw: Trichomes stacked on top of trichomes. No space on the bud sites are NOT covered by cloudy trichomes. Of all my grows in the past two years have I seen a plant with that many trichomes.:drool: Could put her in pre-harvest flush now.:dance2: I like my buds a bit amber colored and the next week or two will bring them out.:clap:

The smell of this Blue Mystic is just wonderful. I love just lightly brushing the bud sites just to smell the great fruity odor. :kusht:

I was skeptical on the yield early into FLOWER. She's put on bud weight like a fat chick locked in a candy shop. :twist:

I'm sold on this strain. Besides the cal-mag whore she is and the possible low yield at the beginning of FLOWER. She's one beautiful plant.

I've added molasses and a bit of CaliMagic to Baby Blue to her WATER cycle. I hope that will keep her cal-mag fix in check. :check:

Test Vape Nirvana Blue Mystic

Cut a bud from Big Sis. Cloudy trichomes.

Using an Iolite vaporizer. Cut the bud into small pieces and it is now warming up in the Iolite.

The Iolite has been heating up for @ 2 minutes.
The 1st vape of course is a moist green taste.
Not too bad...feeling a bit of a front head buzz.
Took a good hit and holding it in........Ahhhhh...
Another good hit....hold it....hold it......Ahhhhh..
Okay..This test vape is going well..
Getting a nice smooth buzz now.
A feeling of relaxation and now a nice head buzz.
Smooth despite it's a very fresh bud.
Vape phlem. Cleaning out the cob webs...
Five minutes in the vape and I'm stoned...not crazy stoned but stoned just as well.
This Blue Mystic will have potential.
Nice smooth rush included in exhale.
A bit stronger than a Northern Light buzz (test vape).
Nice buzz/stone now...Droopy eye starting to take effect.?
Ten minutes into the vape and I'm good for now...
Blue Mystic should be a very good wake and bake vape.
After the green taste in the first two vapes. The vape is smooth w/o any real taste. Classic vape...Am I stoned??...Come on...Am I stoned....Feeling something!!Hmmmmmm..Oh, that's a nice rush...yep STONED.....


Note:
20 minute vape of B/M test with an Iolite vaporizer was very good. After the 20 minutes (normal vape time for me) I'm good and stoned. Gotta get moving about now or I'll just veg in front of this lap top.
