Grow Room Nirvana Blue Mystic Auto Fem

LST'd Baby Blue last night. Bent the main cola at 90 degrees. Very easily too since her main stem is very flexible at this stage. I use nursery Velcro strips that easily attach to the Smart Pot fabric. Also anchored the base of the main stem to counter the tipping of the main stem from the soil. Baby Blue is now a true 90 degree angle. Straight main stem with a 90 degree main cola.

I will have the space to grow her out w/o any LST, but I need to give the lower growth better light absorption. Not going to use extra lighting on this grow and need to get as much light to the bottom growth. Baby Blue is more "Indica" shaped than her Big Sis that is more "Sativa" shaped.

Morning Lost

Yesterday I cut a test bud from Big Sis and test vaped her.

I did three test vapes during the morning and I was very stoned. Stoned enough that the AM was lost. Took an early afternoon nap, had to, and the stone was just incredible.

Cannot wait till she's harvested and cured. She can only get better.

The low odor of the Blue Mystic during FLOWER is deceiving and w/o the skunky odor of most cannabis grows you think that the vape of the B/M would be just okay. Not the case. The test vape of Blue Mystic was very, very good.

I have some blue mystic that I am currently smoking that has been curing for about a month. It is sneaky, super smooth smoke, it does not hit you for a few minutes so it is easy to over indulge.

Sneaky is a good description of my last BM. I vape it and wonder if its working, then I try to stand up and she lets me know she is there.

My BM test vape was a day long stone. Yesterday was cloudy, spitting showers. Typical early spring weather in my neck of the woods so it was a welcome vape stone.

The best test vape in a long time.

I remember test vaping my 1st home grown micro grow. I had to pull over to the side of the road and call my brother...."Holy Shit, Man!!!! I'm stoned...really stoned.."

That was just a simple Nirvana Short Rider..

Big Sis Pre Harvest Flush

Started the Pre Harvest Flush for Big Sis.

Trichomes are cloudy. There are 1,000,000's of the cloudy trichomes. The tri's are stacked up on top of each other.
She is yellowing up nicely in her last weeks in FLOWER.
Checking her tri's and as always I do Muddy's Yellowing Up Theory
Big Sis will be Pre Harvest Flush for at least a full week to maybe two weeks.

Pre Harvest Flush is 1 teaspoon of Molasses to each gallon of pH'd (6.3-6.8) water.


Note:
"IT" aka Nirvana Freebie Bean was watered today with 1/4 strength of Root 66 and Molasses. "IT" is 12 days old and she's looking like she may be a Sativa strain. Long narrow fan leaves.

Baby Blue Day 31 Starting to FLOWER

Baby Blue aka Nirvana Blue Mystic is going into FLOWER. She's in Day 31 from seed pop. Under 200w cfl "Blue". When her Big Sis finishes her pre harvest flush and harvest. Baby Blue will be put into the Super Box under 300w Dual Spectrum cfl with additional "Red" cfl spirals. Pre FLOWER flushed her last night. Next FEED will be her 1st FLOWER nutrients.

She's looking sweet. Small size, but then again, so was Big Sis at this age. Pictures look like she's off center. That because she's LST'd to get the smaller bud sites a good lighting from the cfl.


Note:
IT the Nirvana Freebie Bean is a bit over watered. It is in a plastic nursery pot that's taking it's sweet time drying up. Just going to wait it's time and dry up before giving it any more water. Took a pencil and poked holes into the soil to get some oxygen into the lower part of the soggy soil. She's a bit droopy. IT will come back to normal. I hope!!!!!

Giving her 1/2 teaspoon per gallon every watering and feeding. Just did a pre-FLOWER flush last night. She had that "I need a flush look" The photos of her are what she looked like the next morning. She's much more "Indica" then Big Sis. I could of easily let her grow out and had no issues putting her in the Smart Box. I LST;d her just to get the lower buds to get better light. Seems to work.

Big Sis will be harvested on Tuesday or Wednesday next week. She's 61 days old today. Put on some weight too. Yellowing up to the max. She's ready. Just giving her a good per harvest cleaning. Pretty plant too.

Please be sure to post up a wet weight when you chop your Blue Mystic's down. It will be nice for me to be able to compare your yields with mine since our grows seen very much the same. I re-read my post I made back on page 10. I don't know where I came up with 100grams wet. My total for my first plant was 62grams wet. Dry it was 14grams. I chopped my second plant a week ago. While I thought the wet weight was going to be much more than the first it was 60grams wet. The smell from the second plant was very different than the first. It has a very heavy diesel overtone to the smell with a very uplifting berry scent on your fingers. I swear you can get a buzz from just smelling the jar! My 3'rd plant is just a mess at this point. Almost every fan leaf is gone. The buds are still growing like they always have but she has very few pistols and what few pistols she does have a very short. Just like she has since the start. I am just letting her go just to see if 1) she finally takes off and flowers or 2) she just gives up and dies. I am not really expecting smoke-able bud off of her. I admit I don't smoke myself. I grow for the fun of it. This was my first grow in several years and the first time I worked with auto's. I need to give what I have off these first two plants to a couple of friends so I know how the smoke is.

Like everything the learning curve is always at work. I picked up a Mars Hydro 300w old style LED to replace the CFL's. I started a 1 Bomb Seeds Cherry Bomb, 1 Auto Seeds Ultra Lemon Haze, 1 Short Stuff Seeds Pink Grapefruit and another Blue Mystic. I realize I made another mistake in my other post. I am not using OF it is Happy Frog Potting Soil Straight out of the bag. The Cherry Bomb and Ultra Lemon Haze are 18 days above ground. Looking over them today I see the Cherry Bomb is showing pistols on her pre flowers already. I am doing a little LST'ing with the ULH. The Cherry Bomb, ULH and Blue Mystic are in cut down 2 litter soda bottles as I wanted to see what yields can be on a small foot print ver. the 1 gallon sized pots. I used the same soil because I wanted to see if some of the problems I had with the first 3 BM's was soil related or just lack of knowledge on my behalf. Looking over the Cherry Bomb and ULH I will say the Happy Frog straight up is a little hot like I thought from the first grow. The leaves are almost black they are so dark green. The top newest growth is crow footing just like the first Blue Mystic's did. Just didn't realize the problem before. This would be both clues to Nitrogen being to high. I believe I am going to flush them both tomorrow to try to drop it down and keep ahead of the issue.
