No Preflowers at 6th week

Hi AFN, I currently have my 2nd grow at 6th week. She's doing fine but she's not showing any preflowers, no pistols at all. What's the oldest time your plants showed pistols? I'm getting a little bit worried but I have read that some people had their autos show pistols at week 8, just wanted to confirm this and reassure myself.

Seed is from Ministry of Cannabis
Strain is Auto Mandarin Haze
CFL Light sched 24/0

You could have received a photoperiod by mistake and you should consider going with a 12/12 light schedule to try and jump start them.

Is she still stretching? I currently have a FB GSC that is 60 days old and is just now giving me some white hairs. She has just recently stopped stretching and progressing toward flowering. She is a really big girl, so when harvest arrives, it should be worth the wait. You can flip your lighting to more night hours, this will help get her switched over, also start using the bloom nutes will help her along too. I just switched mine over to bloom nutes and it seemed to do the trick.

@Heavily Medicated Hi kind sir, thanks for that. Mine is still at 6th week so around 42 days. Yours is at around week 8, right? That's reassuring. whew Yes, she's still stretching, about a quarter or half an inch since last night before I went to bed. Will give her bloom nutes next week! Thank you!!

Cheers Wiz'! ..this is my house here, after all,....:smoking: ... So, is that CFL dual spec'? Wattage?.... in any case, like the guys said, something is wonky,.. 3 weeks past due for showing sex is abnormal, even for a Haze cross,... no telling why for sure (bad breeding, packing error,..), so it's sucky news, and a real PITA, but best treat her as a photo' at this point,... cut the lights down to 14 at first and see if that triggers her, along with bloom nutes blended in with grow,...extra PK, just don't burn her, reduce Grow nutes some,.. hopefully this 10 hour drop will work, and you can keep it there and get a better yiend vs. 12/12,... it may take a week or so to see preflowers show up,... just keep watching daily,....

@Waira I have 4x 65w CFLs, 2 are cooldaylight and 2 are warm daylight to have the red and blue spectrum. I plant to just give plain water now because of the dark green color. I'm afraid of N toxicity, that's what damaged my 1st baby. Then next week I'll give 10-30-10 nutes. The week after, I'll treat her as photoperiod. That's what I'm afraid of cause I have not researched about photoperiod. Damn it. All I've been reading about is for autoflowers....

...OK, are those standard household use CFL's The color spectrum is incomplete if so,.. PAR wavelengths are what matters,...
... Wiz, you need different nutes, 10-30-10 is not a good ratio for cannabis,.. in bloom, or to help induce it, there's too much N, not enough K, and the P is a bit high,... if you can swing it, get dedicated bloom nutes made for cannabis,... Photo's aren't harder, they're easier generally,...less $$ on power too!

@Waira No Bro, because you said "Cheers Wiz'! ..this is my house here, after all,....:smoking:", I was pertaining to the AFN site as your cool house Oh shiz I really don't know about the PAR or wavelengths of these. I just know these are your typical warehouse type of CFL. They are huge. About 8-10inches long.

Unfortunately, these are the only nutes I can get here.. I've already looked all over the town for better nutes. This is the nutes that I have : http://www.ramgoseeds.com/products.do?item_id=24010 correction, it's 15-30-15.

I'm being patient though, I don't mind if it finishes for 4months. I've just watered her. I'll give her plain water for 3days then start the bloom nutes.

Just to update and close this thread, I've transferred her outdoors where she'll get 12/12 but quite poor sunlight. I'm guessing she's not an auto and I think she's finally showing her pistils. Oh well. I hope she finishes well.

standard lighting CFL's have inferior wavelengths for growing mate,... PAR is photosynthetically active radiation, meaning those specific ranges of wavelengths that are what the plants uses best for it's processes,... light is not light! If you can order online, look into dual spectrum (grow/bloom) CFL's,.... it does look like a girl though! If you have pistils, you're gold....
