Thanks for popping in mate. I should be able to hang the 125w as its a tad shorter than the 200w got some mig welding wire so im gonna try later and see how i get on. I'll update later with my progress. I will however be hanging both lights on my next grow after i have made my groom bigger. With the light being dual spec is it advised to hang so a mixture of blue and red are facing the girls?

hi mate your doing a great job. If you get your self a reflector and just point the bule side at your plant for veg and when it stops growing in height turn it round to the red side is facing your plant. Cheers mate appreciate the advice, manged to get the 200w hung but cant get the 125w to hang. Ive had to pop my DIY cf on as the mrs came to have a look at what I was doi g and said it stank lol. Still at least I get to give it a run and see how she fairs up.
The filter has upped the temp in the groom to 27.8°c I shall check it again in about an hour to see how its looking a get a pic to sling on

i have a pc fan blowing air through the bulb and it removes the heat build up on the light just aim the air at your exhaust but only found that out a week ago lol

thats better mate. just an idea could u hang the other bulb from the oposit corner ( top right in your photo ) so they are side by side with there wires in the corners ?

just checked my temps and there holding at a steady 34.5c which is a tad on the high side so tomorrow im gonna put 2 pc fans in there and cut a hole in the side of the groom and secure them as intake fans to try and reduced the heat.

Do you guys think this will solve my heat issues?
If not im open to suggestions.

Well Ive had a shit day, washing machine dies (fixed now) then my tv copped for an air born wooded lochness monster (bloody kids) so spent most of the day stripping and rebuilding our washing machine and the rest of it sorting my insurance out for my tv.

Any way, haven't had much time to sort the groom today but i have angled the fan at the lights to try and cool them down a tad and ive taken 2 covers off the outside of my groom to try and reduce internal temps. I have managed to get them down to 30.4 so thats better and i'll do more tomorrow.

Unfortunatly my little queen hasn't liked the added heat in the groom today so i've had her out and given her a much needed drink. I have also ordered a slightly stroner fan as the airs backing up in to the groom instead of blowing through the filter and out so the game plan will be to fit the smaller fan lower down as an intake fan and the new 1 as my extractor.


Oh and even though its early days.............SMELL FUCKING LOVELY IN MY BOX LOL
