Noob here, can any1 help with my germination issues??

Got 5 fast n vast on the go but only 1 has popped.......been In soil for a week now thinking about starting again​

I'd give it a couple more days. I only had that happen once I think it was my fourth time so I thought I had the magic touch after three at 100%. I would try a different method until you find out what went wrong. I think my problem was temperature.

Are you germinating the seeds first, or are you dropping in soil and germinating there?

I gave them 18 hours in a glass of water (they all sank) then a day in a moist paper towel. They had all barely cracked open

You may want to leave them in the paper towel longer as well. I wait until the tap root all the way out... At least a cm or two before I put them in soil.

Mephisto has a great guide for this . Before I found it I was lost , now my rate is 100 percent .

Some beans just don't want break. I have bunch of seeds which didn't germinate, but all they were in the same container as the two seeds which germinated. You can check in my journal, I was discussing about this. From 6 only 2 in the same conditions. And more examples like this. They're just old seeds and you pay for nothing. That happened with some Mephisto, some Fastbuds, some Green house seeds etc... Great sellers will pay back or offer another seeds... and some sellers even will not reply.

hey buddy, in my opinion the easiest way to germinate is with root riots. get about 20 for a tenner on amazon. they come moistened (i like that word) you just put the seed pointed side up into the cube and leave it somewhere warm. thats it done. takes about 2 days for me. i put a glass over mine and put them straight under the lights. wait till theres a few roots poking out then put them into whatever medium. had one out of 14ish not pop so far : )
