image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Hi guys
I'm currently 44 days into my first ever grow and all was going well till about day 38 when I noticed that a few of the fan leaves were looking a tad pale. Since then most of the large fan leaves all over the plant have gone yellow and the bottom ones dying.
I am using b and q seeding/potting compost mixed with perlite and started her on .5ml of old timers veg at week 3 increasing to 1ml per litre.
I switched to old timers bloom at day 35 just using 1ml per litre and now have these issues and am not sure wether I need to give more bloom nutes or less or wether to completely flush as I've just read on here about flushing at day 35.
Any advice you experts out there could give would be much appreciated.

cheers guys

Yo, ive had a good long look at your pics and I think its a normal thing dude,. the plant will eat her older leaves first, but still worth checking your ph levels are ok & that new growth isn't also yellow. when i get big old fans yellow like that I normally take them off.
If other growth is also going yellow, then yeah, probs you may have but at the moment bro, shes looking good apart from a bit of heat stress shes been getting, the top leaves, sides are curled upwards, shes trying to conserve moisture by doing that so she might be getting a bit too hot at the top.
flushing at day 35 is a no no in my grow book dude, but im sure others have a good reason for doing it...keep feeding her, maybe up it a bit to 2ml per L,,she may be a little low on the N aswell, check your bloom feeds have a little of Nitrogen in it, they still need it during flowering.
Hope that helps ya bro, its a start as im sure others will come in and help.

Whats the NPK of the bloom feed you are giving? Seems a bit early for this type of N def. for it to be just "natural". Could be a combination of low levels of N and strain behaviour.

Nothing critical. You still need some N in then feed for proper formation of amino acids at least.

Hi guys, it looks like multiple problems you probably facing.
Do you feed her with cal mag at all ?
You introduce her to some Mg, she should get greener, but the yellowing starting from the bottom indicates the N def.
If is very possible that she is started growing very rapidly, and you are possibly not fast enough with supplying her with sufficient amount of N.
At this stage is very common to run into cal mag def also, so anyway you need to get something that includes Ca and Mg, and if I wAre you I would get it fast.
This two elements are as important as N,P,K ....
In my grow, I use couple of table spoons of dolomite (mist yo the soil), I feed my plants with cal mag (like 1.5ml per litre of water) and still having to deal with cal mag issues, but not to as bad as before .
If I see any sign that cal mag def is on the way, my way to deal with it is foliar feed and that eliminates it in couple of days .
Hope it helped a bit

I am not saying though that you have cal nag issues you need to check yours leaves more closely for weird looking spots to know for sure.
I think I saw some spots on leaves of yours plant that's why I am saying ...but I might be wrong, I would wait for more experienced growers to say something , I only grow for 4 years so it is not very long time and everything I am saying it comes from my personal experience .... So fake it with the pinch of solt

Yea "fake it with the pinch of salt"
That sounds about right, and the thing is I read my posts couple of times before sending anything, I don't know how I have missed it ....

Thanks for your advice guys although I've gotten admit some of it went over my head and I had to go and research what you were on about.
So I have watered her today and upped the 1 ml of old timers plant magic bloom Npk of 3 5 4 to 2 ml per litre which I hope will help some.
I think my run off ph is low but hard to tell as I only had some hot tub check strips to use.
If anyone could recommend what to use that's available to purchase in the uk I'll definitely look into purchasing it.
The same with cal mag as it doesn't seem readily available from what I can see.

Cheers dudes

:crying: You're doing fine Brother! And :slap: for helping out, that's exactly what makes AFN sing!

Can you give us more details, Skipp? What pH are you reading and feeding?
I dig what @LED Borg is saying. Your gals look a bit young for bloom nutes. Have they stopped most of their upward growth? N is pretty critical during veg.
