:coffee: woke up to a cloudy rainy day,all was well when i opened the tent as i lay eyes on yet another set of leaves is coming in. The existing are getting larger by the minute,i have the fan blowing indirectly around the plant to shake her up for a couple of hours today. I feel that this is progressing rather slowly being as tomorrow is 2 weeks since she broke soil from seed, am i just impatient or am i causing things to move along slowly by something im doing???
Ps the specs you see all over the leaves wipe right off its from the inconsistent aeration of the water blowing through the drip ring kind of like a spitting and sputtering followed by consistent drips, if you look closely its probably been on all my pics, but wont be long until she outgrows the ring :bong:

Some closeups of new growth and an aerial view, shes since i have given her nutes since day one i assume shes become comfortable with that and using it to her advantage. Where the set of leaves is beginning to branch from the main stalk there is new sets coming in i count 4 new sets trying explode out of her, i cant wait to see how she looks in two more weeks. What do you guys think, please comment and tell me what i should do different or change

Would it benefit my grow in any way if i alternated nutrient combos during res changes? For instance, im running General Hydro Flora Grow, Micro and Bloom now with Sugar Daddy from TechnaFlora. Would it be okay to run just TechnaFlora nutes next res change to see how they work? Or am i better off just sticking with the lucas formula

Hi
I was just browsing your thread...about your ph problem with your tap Water.
I am doing a test run with a diy hydro.. Had the same problems with the ph rising overnight.
My tap is 330 ppm and about 7,3 ph. In 12 hours it go from 5.6 to 7.1....
My fix to the problem... dafi filter (same As Britta) using 1/2 tap Water and 1/2 filter in my res.
The filter drop the tap Water Down to 6,7 ph and the ppm 220..
3 Days aften res change my ph is almost stable...
It Will take a coupe of weeks for your hydroton/Leca to be "flushed" from the tap Water with High ph.. because u did not soak Them in ph Water before u put Them in use. I did the same....next time ph does balls Lol.
I ph my res when i get up in the morning.. And again when i go to bed. That keeps my ph in tjek..
She looks Happy. :gthumb:
Ohhh i use the same tent size.
Peace

Thats some hard water you got there and i def plan on investing in a filter of some sort ill filtet all of it because im only using 2.25gallons a week so far but im sure that will go up as she grows older. Also do yu have res temp issues? whats your peak temp?

Yep hard Water.. But im am using hard Water nutes...With minor problems... It is my First test with the system.
I have no issue with res getting hot...my res temp. About 18 c 64 f.. But i have my res outside my tent.you Can have a look at my DIY TFR. Its pretty Munch the same as the Waterfarm you use. I just seperated the res from the grow bucket..
And used another system to get the Water to the plants...
Peace

Just gave her a nice healthy foliar feeding of Thrive Alive B-1 Green (organic). I was sure to soak the underside of the leaves well with an ultra fine mist, i sprayed the topside of the leaves as well but was quick to turn the fan on, didnt want any water spots on the leaves. ALSO i added phd water to the res as well as 1/2 strength Root 66 to the res.
If its a bad idea to be trying to juice her up as much as i am please say so :smokebuds:
