New Grower Not going to plan

It was all going so well. Gemanated three seeds auto ak49, auto cream of the crop and auto sweet dark devil. It was all going so well for the first couple of weeks.
I had them outside in the day time and in my airing at night. The airing cupboard has a window. The weather stopped being hot and they just seemed to stop doing anything. And to top it off my cat found them. Well to cut a long story short I have only the cream of the crop left. It looks a really healthy seedling with two sets of leafs. But it's not doing anything it's about 3 weeks.
The last couple of grows I have done where under lights and went really well. My mrs won't have me using lights again due to the police taking my last set up.
Takes the piss if you ask me all I want to do is grow abit for myself not to sell.
What can I do to make it grow better?
Think I might get a heat mat and stand it on my window sil where it will get loads of natural light. Will that be ok or does it need direct sunlight. What about led lights, any good?

LED is okay, but lower yield. Invest in top quality LED's and not fake cheap ones. (Good ones cost $300+ per panel)

They need direct sunlight not a window sill.You said your wife won't let you use lights anymore than you ask about LED's I don't quite follow you.

Think I could talk her into led or cfl. I know hps is a no no.
Was hoping not to use lights but they need heat and light so I can't see another way.
The plan was an outdoor grow but think I live on the wrong side of our planet.

Lower yield? Not sure i agree with that mate,imo a good LED will match any light and give you great yields :smokebuds: geeza if your interested in LEDs bud there's a tonne of grows to check out in the led section and the led vendor section :thumbs:

All of us(who dont/cant) use lights are having the same issues fella! Try to give her a couple of 3 hours(noon to 4)outside(then bring her back in, to warm up again, the soil should have enough heat by midday, to allow her to get some use from a few hours outside. She will take longer and yield less, but, even if it`s cloudy etc, she`ll still appreciate it. She should still finish(eventually!)just give her a chance!

how come your woman is ok with the plant but not ok with the light? that makes literally no sense lol. if you had a light you could atleast be somewhat stealthy with a grow tent rather than putting it outside or on the window where its easy to see. sometimes women make no sense
