The smart pots trick them into thinking they have more space than they really have- that'll keep em going longer. You sound like your on it- keep at em, run them again.
To me- fwiw- those male parts- that means they went too long. The girls want pollen- and when they think the end is near- they'll start popping out balls in a last ditch effort to make seed...
You've already said it a few ways- you think they went too long also- I wouldn't sweat the humidity too much- cut em earlier (like you've already said) and see if that solves it- additionally start thinking humidity control and what not... Whether its more air exchange or whatever.

Did you have a fan and hot air exhaust.... You might think about a small A/C or dehumidifier..

I would keep my humidity in check, and not sacrifice yield and potency...fans and fresh air intake and hot air exhaust will do that. as far as hermaphrodite parts stress will cause that in the most stable strains, do you stick to a light schedule, keep your temps down, lower temps will help keep your humidity down also... feeding to hot will cause boy parts also?
Ya going through my can and see what is there. Found a lot of seed pods but only one seed that was half way hard. It is sad to cut one open that looks like a Brussels sprout inside and see that. The next time will be better. And on nutes. Yes I run as much as they will take.
I'm all about keeping the humidity in check as well. More air is always better.

To me that all sounds "overripe" I can't see giving up all that subtlety in flavor and aroma- and all that electricity and nuance that the buzz has when it's right just for a heavier hammer... This is ak47 we are talking - not critical kush.
Anyway- I completely agree about the humidity. And the stress is also a good point. I know I've had a couple mi5 locked out as seedlings- and they just sort of finally got going and went way long- for me, 100 days or so.

Well after cleaning 3 and sleeping on it I have decided I will see if I can keep the White Wodow alive long enough to finish her seeds. Has no mental effect. All the others do still have effect and lasting power. The WW still has a pain relief quality but it only last about 1 1/2 hours with no mental stimulation. The Cream Camanel will kick your azz as will the AK and it last for 3-4 hours. The WW will be my seeds for the next few years. I know I can dial these puppys in.
