as title states, how do you guys do it. I came home today to the unmistakable stench of high grade old school drying on the vine-destroying my whole building through 4 doors all the way through my unit down the stairs in the hallway. Ona block was a big waste of money. I'm Leary of drying my stuff in the tent, too. Temps to high, and I don't think I drying in bags. I like to prolong the drying process as long as possible, but I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too. Just wondering if you intelligent lads had some stupid easy cheap way lol. I mean I literally have to cook not one, but 2 pounds of bacon before I could trim these skywalkers

Ive read

Closed cardboard box outside tent
connected to passive intake
Which is enough to create airflow inward

I dry inside tent - near the floor for lower temp

I got some Ona gel recently for unexpected plumbers visit
.. I needed no fan noise .. so no filter for smell

Gave it a gentle shake put it inside tent for when fan switched off
Plumbers didn’t come so didn’t switch off fan
When I opened tent hours later it was working pretty good

..so it works well for me .. when it’s inside a tent with good airflow lol

I use an old 2x2 tent for the drying process. I have a fan/filter for that one as well. I also use an air purifier, which helps with that heavy, fresh harvest odor.

Lower the temperature and increase humidity. Once stems half crack rather than snap put the buds on trays or in pizza boxes inside your freezer. They will cure perfectly over a few weeks and no smell. If it reeks that means your terpenes are going bye bye forever because heat and lack of humidity are causing your herb to transpire.
