Grow Mediums Oh No..BayLee420 Going Hydro

There is a little tiny tip burn on [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]. Got the day off so did a reservoir change.
Tap Water (aerated for 24 hours): 87 PPM
West Coast Horticulture A&B Grow: 443 PPM (1/3 strength) (33 ml)
443 PPM-87 PPM=356 PPM
Nutrient solution pH: 5.7

Gonna run this and see how they react. Feel a little better with the lower PPM.

Liking this DWC stuff. Talk about dialing it in. Takes 10-15 minutes to drain, clean reservoir. Any trouble...Drain the Swamp (USA's new code word) and start over. How freaking easy is that. Going to let this PPM run for a few days and then check reservoir's PPM and pH. I'll get a better idea on what the girls are doing. Loving it. Thanks Guys for talking me through this.

[HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is getting some nice root growth. Dropped the reservoir level to a 1/4 inch or so from the bottom of the 5" net pot. The bubbles from the six 2" air stones are just breaking under the net pots. The Top Feed is still set for 10 minute nutrient flow every 5 hours with lamp ON. My baby [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is chugging along she's trying to keep with her Big Sister. I feel so much better with the lower PPM; it's in that 400-600 range for early VEG.

Is it me or is @Muddy back in service? Did a Google search on the best PPM for Autoflowers and a rather recent @Muddy post came up. Great advise as usual.

Note: The @Muddy posts were not so recent..back in 2014....still good advice.

@Muddy got me started in Autoflower growing. He was the one that I stumbled upon when researching Autoflowers. I asked him how to get started and the rest is history. Welcome back @Muddy.:pighug:

#2's roots are hitting the nutrient solution and she's taking off. The 2nd node was just visible last night and this morning the 2nd node is already forming nicely. Baby [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is chugging along.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes, I'm back, although my involvement isn't like before. I hadn't grown any autos in almost 2 years while concentrating on learning rdwc. I just harvested a few autos and have more going again in soil while I continue doing photos in the rdwc. Good to see so many familiar names still active.
