Outdoor Oldsters Outdoor 2014 Grow

Maybe cage them until bigger make sure no curios deer or anything else for that matter pesky little critters. At least they are showing forward motion

Day 40 Update

Well some of the little guys are really starting to improve. I think about half will recover just hope all the issues don't trigger hermi issues. I am a little bummed that the SDs seem to be the slowest to show improvment

Nice lookin girls Oldster, alot more sunhours hopefully coming our way in the next few weeks. Should make them blossom into young ladies !

DAY 57 update

Well, if it could go wrong it has with this grow. Started with soil problems that damaged their roots and caused stunting. Deer destroyed 10 of 16 plants (deer even chewed some of the plastic tags I use). The remaining 6 have all been topped by deer and heavy rains put some of them under water for a couple of days and did in 1 more.

Not sure I will get much from group 1 but as long as they are alive I am not giving up on them.

Here are the survivors from group 1:

I started some replacements and 6 germinated. Here they are at Day 23. Two of the three Stone Dragons turned out to be male so I am down to 4 non of which have showed sex yet. The remaining SD is sort of a runt and the leaves are a little crinkled. Here is the remainder of Group 2:

Plants are getting conditioned to outside at this point. I will find a place with less deer for these guys. I really like the fat indica leaves on the BOM x OG, hope it turns out to be a girl

Group 2 Update

Well, Group 2 is doing much better than Group 1 thankfully. Here they are in their outdoor home on 7-2. There are a lot less deer tracks then my previous place and as you can see I have put cages around these for rabbit/deer protection. They are closer to the house than I would like but I think they blend in pretty well as you can see from the last photo.

We were gone for the weekend and I checked them a bit ago to see how they were doing. Looks like they grew 6 inches and the 3 autos have all started to bloom. I will try and get some pictures tomorrow if it doesn't rain too much

Wooohooo, Oldster,

The Great Outdoors.

Nice set up you got there. Someone walking on the other side of your plants, probably can't even see them.

Nice Job

Thanks Eek,

The spot is actually between a creek and a marsh so human traffic is not likely. My biggest concern is aircraft when they start looking for MJ in corn which they do quite a bit around here.
