Outdoor Oldsters Outdoor 2014 Grow

Well, Group 2 is doing much better than Group 1 thankfully. Here they are in their outdoor home on 7-2. There are a lot less deer tracks then my previous place and as you can see I have put cages around these for rabbit/deer protection. They are closer to the house than I would like but I think they blend in pretty well as you can see from the last photo.

We were gone for the weekend and I checked them a bit ago to see how they were doing. Looks like they grew 6 inches and the 3 autos have all started to bloom. I will try and get some pictures tomorrow if it doesn't rain too much

Nicely camo'd! Looking for them in the pic was like playing Where's Waldo

Personally oldster You have nothing to worry about you have them blending in nice with your surrounding environment. You have only a few plants You have more to worry about slugs and dear then ever helicopter and nosy self righteous peeps and pirates. Like my old saying goes if no one knows then know one knows. On the need to know bases. You will be fine the second round of plants look great off to the races my friend

nice one that's very careful growing. recently i had a dodgy moment when two hot air baloons went over my grow spot, i was in some random regrowth bushes next to a river at 8 am :) my number 2 spot was raided by some boars this year, fortunately i had more than 2 :) For one spot i found an amazing solution from animals... leave open upright bottles of car engine cleaner mixed with vinegar and bacon or random meat, and abit of water, it smells like wd40, perhaps worse. prior to planting, i found that some boar had dragged a giant stick through the nettles and flattened a 5 meter by 2 meters line of plants, using a dragged branch... i thought WTF? it was 4 meters from my plants. no boars have touched the plastic beer cups i use for saplings against slugs, which is unbeleivable. nice selection of strains :)

Thanks for stopping by hedgerrider, yeah the damage that wild pigs can do is unbelievable, happy they are not a problem here yet. I will have to give your engine cleaner mix try in my veggie garden!

Happy growing

Group 2 Day 61 update

Well I thought I better do an update as it has been awhile.

Group 1 - the only thing still alive is the 2 BOMxOG, did not have time to get pictures as it is about to rain again.

Group 2
The cages are working well keeping deer and rabbits away from the plants. Unfortunately we had a flash flood about 2 weeks ago and all 4 plants spent about 8 hours under water. I sprayed them off with clean water but they did suffer some leaf damage. The autos are getting closer to being done but a lot of the yellow leaves are from the flood and subsequent shower I gave them.

Its actually a BOMxOG which was a freebie from RCMC/Smoke-a-Lot, could not find anything about it. Yea, on the MOB I am really hopeful, sounds like a great cross and they are doing well so far.

thanks for stopping by

Hi all,

It is going to be raining the net few days so I decided to pull the 3 autos that were still alive. One had already molded, pitiful to say the least. Still have 2 of the BOM x OG photos growing and looking little better than their auto siblings. The 3rd BOM showed male this past week and got pulled. This has been my worst grow in a long time.

Good news is I have 25 plants in a test grow for a breeder that are doing great that includes 6 more Stone Dragons so assuming they finish in time should have enough herb to play with over the winter
