Look go ahead and spray over the tops, just not enough to drip into the buds. MAKE SURE YOU get the under side of the leaves (very important), and spray the soil too, and the sides of the pots. everywhere. Then, beware, because thrips that are just starting to fly (hopping), and the larvae, are in the topsoil. If you have thrips, they may be resistant to Neem. you might have to use a rosemary spray (like dr. rosenthall's zero tolerance), to knock them dead out. I am not saying youi do have them, but you will know, if you pat the soil with your hands lightly, and look closely for hopping black tiny bugs. Other measures can be taking if that is the case. But for now, see if this helps.

My two cents,

Eek

^^ wot he said. Also if it is thrips then you can use any product which contains Pyrethrin for a non organic control. Although, saying that thrips do leave tiny thin white trails that look like snot but is actualy damaged leaf.

It's best to spray before lights out as well so you don't get burn marks all over the place :)

I def dont have any of what you guys are saying playas. They are tiny white bugs that were crawling on my soil, and the rim of my pot. They were not on any part of my plant, and there is no damage to any of my plant leaves, other than what I know is to be nute burn. P.S. They were VERY TINY I could not have shown you with a camera. They were not hoping, or anything like that. They were microscopic, and whtie, But either way it jus took 5 yrs off my lifespan, so they still Win!!! Thank you guys for your thoughts, and tips for whatever these fucks are. I have done research out the ass, and can not figure it out. I have googled : Tiny white bugs, small white bugs around my pot, etc. PEace!

I bought some dirt a year ago and started noticing fungus gnats. Then noticed these same crawling bugs on the dirt but never harmed the plants and tried lots to get rid of them. Once I got them under the microscope and researched they were (hypoapsis) soil mites. Its creepy but they're beneficial in keeping gnats thrips and spider mites away and die down when the food dies down. Oviously mine came in the dirt because the company was dealing with their own gnat problem.(they go from white to tan to brown)

idk sounds like thrips to me. you shouldnt be able to see spidermites with the human eye. do they look like little worms when they move? i believe i can see a little shiny trail on one of the pictures of the plants. First picture you posted. your probably gonna notice a shiny trail on your leaf and then look between the veins and the thrips blend in with veins. i had them a lil while . i always see theyre markings before the bug themselves. hope you figure it out let us know!
