I did some pruning let more light in through the canopy. Poached a bud of Sour Crack and Steel City Blues. I have them drying on top of the light.

Tomorrow is day 60 for the Sour Crack and I have to say that Mephisto is correct about the Sour Crack being a fast plant. I've decided to flush until I leave for CO next week and trim off most of the vegetation before I leave. I'm going to try to keep the root ball alive while I am gone so the Steel City has more time to finish.

Nah, Jack. Haven't done any just yet. I'm holding out until it's had a bit of a cure. Right now it's on the 4th day of drying. After maybe a week of cure, I figure I'll no longer be able to resist, and will go ahead and dip my fingers in the cookie jar to sneak a sample

The Sour Crack I've poached is actually quite good without a cure. I can't say the same for the Fast Bud I grew last time. Don't hold out too long. Life is short.

I don’t know if I’m to late but, Im not sure if trimming off the foliage right now would be good. Since it can suck out nutes and produces more resin for you whiles your gone. I could be wrong though. Im a noob. :tiphat:

I agree Neko. I need to get motivated and add a second reservoir to my system. If I don't I'll trim the plants back to slow their growth while I am gone.

If you whant to slow it down.
snap the stems "like supercropping, but without bending the stem"
This will set it back about 3-5 days.

I have done it only 1 time with my La diva.
She ended up producing about 73g in 72 days.
But not recommended !!!!

But get 2 buckets a floatvalve some fittings and go make a Controller for your setup.

In the end you will. be more happy with that solution

Thanks KsjAuto, I'm just being lazy. Do you know of a good source for hydro parts? Amazon is a bit of a craps shoot. The float valve I bought has a compression fitting for a 1/4"-3/8" OD. I need a compatible bulkhead fitting for the 2dn res. and some tubing. When you say "snap the stems without bending" what do you mean exactly?
