hi guys.
seen a few opinions online about flushing your plant before harvest, im currently growing with biobizz lightmix and biobozz grow bloom and topmax to half scheduled mix. some people say to flush and others say you cant really flush organic soil as it would mean to flush the bacteria in the soil which makes it organic in the first place.

any thoughts?
anyone not flushed organic grow and got 10/10?

would be nice to save that time waiting for the plant to die away in front of ur own eyes lol

thanks guys

I use BioBizz, I don't 'flush', just feed plain water for the last week to ten days. Don't water to run off. Chem nute's you want 20% run off to stop the build up of salts, BioBizz, no run off, you want the microherd to stay in the pot

thanks for the reply bro

so u just wait until lower fan leaves start to turn yellow then stop nutes and only feed water until all fan leaves fall off and die, then harvest?

sorry for noob questions. my first grow

No worries, no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid answers. Don't go by leaves, go by pistils colour, then trichomes. The pistils should give you an idea when to finish, but for a 100% accurate way, you need to check the trichomes. Clear trics, not ready, cloudy, ready, amber, past peak. Mostly cloudy, a few amber, and a few clear, is what most people would go for. You can fine tune that, depending what high you want

Hey and Welcome.
The great flush debate! I am a semi-flusher myself. I use water only for the last two or three waterings. I use dirt and a wee bit of chemical ferts. That is what works best for me in my current style. As far as harvesting and when to do it; I rely solely on trichomes. I go for mostly cloudy to all cloudy with some amber trichomes. That's when I chop. I don't pay to much attention to the fan leaves at this point unless it's something dramatic.
Peace and happy growing.

so when would you start flush? when trichomes are all cloudy? then by the end of flushing then im assuming some tichomes are amber so you chop them?

thanks so much for advice guys. i appreciate it

I start water only when the trics are around 50%-60% cloudy. Then a week to ten days later, they should be all cloudy, with a few amber.

No worries mate, happy hunting
