Lighting Pal's first Photosensitive grow, The Ultimate.

Hey AFN, I've been away for a while and a lot has changed around here but I'm back with my first attempt at a photo grow, wouldn't feel right doing a grow without sharing it with you guys. Here are some details about the grow:

Tent: 1.2x1.2x2.0m
Medium: DWC 15L Buckets
Nutes: Canna Range (Aqua)
Lights: Plants will be started and vegged for a little while with a GNMS006 & GNMS004. Will then fire up the 600w HPS to finish.
Strain: Dutch Passion The Ultimate

I will be running two plants, both fem seeds and I've heard mainly good things about this strain in terms of yield and quality so hopefully this grow will be a success. As summer is pretty much here I plan to place my air pumps into a chest fridge or freezer to pump cool air into the res, hopefully this will help me control temperatures better, hopefully however this won't be necessary until I switch over to the HPS.
I'm waiting on a delivery including root stim before I get started so right now I'm just bubbling the water in anticipation, should be up and running in a few days and I'll post an update when the time comes.

It's almost that time peeps, sorry to keep you waiting. I've ordered 2 new air diffusers and some more tubing which is everything I need, should be germinating this weekend

Couple of delays but I have a few pics of the set up for you guys. My new air diffusers arrived and I'm using one pump to run them both for now (30lpm pump = 15lpm per bucket). I've done what I can with foil to try and keep some of the heat out but for the next week or two I'm relying on frozen bottles in the res. Will be germinating tomorrow.

Popped two seeds into a glass of water this morning to start them off, they will then go into paper towels and once cracked, into root riot cubes. Also gave my stones a good rinse and loaded the net pots.

Seeds have been in paper towels for a few hours, they sank in the glass of water after 1- 2 hours so hopefully they will have cracked open by the time I get up tomorrow

No movement from the seeds yet, still in paper towels - glad to provide this exciting update!

8 hours later - both seeds have cracked, one has it's little tail poking out slightly ahead of the other who is just starting to crack now, they will go into root riots tonight.
