Not sure if I'm posting this in the right sub forum so apologies if not.
I'm just about to pull the trigger on the parts necessary for a cfl pc build but just want to check I'm buying the right stuff so as to not waste money.
It's the fan I'm a bit confused by. I don't think I need an intake fan (correct me if I'm wrong) but with the extractor fan, would any of the fans in the link at the top of this post be sufficient with a carbon scrubber glued to the inside side of the fan? (sound isn't an issue but smell definitely is). Which carbon sheet and thickness is considered the best of the best? I'm also planning to have ducting from the outside side of the fan into a bucket of ona gel. Would this combination work or would it essentially stop the fan from pulling air (and the smell) from the pc case?
