Might I suggest yarn or twine instead of floss? Yarn is softer and still as effective.
I wonder if you have ever had a small greenhouse...and had shelving like this:
Do you see those screen-like shelves?
They fit into a greenhouse like this one.
Those screens are killer for tying down branches to. I am going to be using one on my next indoor project.
Those little greenhouses only last one season here in the UK because of the wind & rain, but the screens last for years! And they can be cut to fit your cabinet.
As for your seeds:
Dude, I planted FRESH seeds at the beginning of July and NO SPROUTS for 3 different attempts (every 6 days or so)!
And then last Wednesday I planted some more and one came up the very next day! And the rest came up on days 2 & 3. I couldn't fucken believe it!!
This is why it's best to have enough seeds and plant more than you think you'll need.
I think I will be ok just with tying down branches to sides of my pots with floss or yarn. There is very good grow report here by Lowbudge - I will try to do something similar.
I have just sprayed a bit water on top of the soil were seeds are situated and turned on the lights to increase temperature (without lights it was 19C, now it's 24C).
hey how do the temps run? i Have a smaller case and room is tight its 17inches high, 7inchs width an 17 inches length but can only use about 14 of it. Im running 33w of led d.i.y and it runs pretty high if the room temp is above 85 it can hit about 92f. I think i need a bigger heatsink for cooling. Right now running a black cream lst'ing the heck out of it 23 days old and still waiting for her to flower i hope she doesn't take long so she doesn't get to big
My LED lamp has built in coolers – the temperature in box is 22 °C. It seems to be ideal.
My little girls are 3 days old (they have popped up from soil on Sunday) and they seem to be nice and healthy.
I will upload new photos in few hours.
Nice set up! I just got mine started today! auto Mazar strain and Blue Amnesia. Using a 100w Blackstar LED with my set up. Love seeing these pc micro box grows.
