A problem that has plagued me every grow I've done is the lack of ph stability in my soil.
I adjust my water religiously to about 6. , after using various nutes, mostly Fox Farm Grow Big - all carefully measured and applied per instructed.
In almost all cases I need to add ph Up↑
The soil is always new FF Ocean Forest.
But... when measuring run-off after 2-3 weeks the ph is always well below 5.

Heavy flushing returns the ph to safe and normal levels - buy I wonder why this is always happening?
This happens using either "tap" water - or heavily filtered and reverse Osmosis water.

I generally have good success with my grows - but this is an issue that has me stumped.

Anyone else have this problem? (you MusT!??)
•Do the Ph Up↑ & Down↓ additives evaporate in the soil over time and leave the dirt filled with toxic nutes??

The attached pic is of some photo strain from a couple years ago

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
