I have had a look around the site but am still not sure. I'm sorry if this is old news.
I am at the final stages and am starting to flush. My water is 8.1 Ph so i need to bring that down.
My question is What should I use to bring the Ph down without introducing any chemicals we don't want.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

If you are final flushing you don't need to change the PH. With final flushing you are just clearing the dirt in the pots from nutrients leftovers. Your plant will pomp only water from the soil so ph is no concern at this time.

Edit: you could use products like Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients or Flora Kleen (much cheeper) witch will help with clearing the dirt quicker and better (they say).

In normal times what do you use to control Ph ?

Thanks again

I use FloroKleen and believe that it helps alot.

Great thanks a lot. Just normal white vinegar or any vinegar?
Can't find anyone round here that stocks earth juice. Will try online.
I do like the idea of being able to use something from the cupboard if needed.
Cheers

I use battery acid from auto parts store to ph down, dont spill it tho! I dilute significantly from concentrated strength, use 1 cup acid in a 2 liter soda bottle and then fill the rest of the way with water, makes it dilute enough you arent going to hurt yourself if you get some on your skin.

I think I'll give the vinegar a go.
Id hate to think what damage I would do with battery acid.

Again I thank you all or your input
