Picture 271.jpgPicture 270.jpgSame day, the photo bed. They are making me a sea of green and budding almost as hard as the autos. They are filling in nicely with many nice side branchs. As you can see, photos planted after the soltice grow like autos on steroids! So the only plan that makes sence to me is to grow autos until late june then photos thereafter for the rest of the season. So for the whole year, all the plants would veg a few weeks then go into flowering. Nice.......

As you can see in the photo bed, there is a male o.g. ghost train haze dropping pollen on all my ladies. I figure 6 weeks from now I can harvest mature seeds. The weather is going down to 35 degrees sunday night, no worries mate!

:smokebuds:very interesting.....

Picture 272.jpgI almost forgot. The photos are showing a nit. defeincy so I gave them a full strenth dose of miricule grow AND ammonia nitrate. I am tired of holding them back. Go photos! You can see the yellowing in this pic.

Day 42. A more important number is 30. The number of degrees tonite. A statewide heavy frost warning. This after a week of below average temps. Should I be afraid? I think not, no worries mate. Wach it all be dead, god I would hate to go to a lot of trouble just to prove myself wrong! You could not know, but I am known as kentucky's smartest idiot!

Day 43. I must say I was nervios this morning as I made the long walk to my spot. My day began with me finding my truck was stolen during the night. It was found and returned. On the way I saw many leaves with frost damage and was begining to doubt myself. There were also no spider webs on the trails, to cold I guess. The last leg of my journey starts at the top of a south facing cliff. As I began my decent I began getting facefulls of spider webs. Always a good sign! An unbroken web tells me I am the first to use this trail this morning and it was warm enough for spiders to work. As I turned the last corner, a great sight was befor me! Not only did they survive, they are florishing! The photos that I was tired of holding back, I had given them a large dose of nitrigen and they loved it. The photo bed is now waist high and flowering like crazy. And still wanting more nit. I was afraid that like muddy pointed out, when the soil temps get to low, the nutes get locked up and that is also a nit. def.. But no, they are just growing so fast they quickly use all avalable nit., put on a burst of growth, while flowering, then beg me for more. Amazing! I was so upset over my truck, I forgot to take my camera. The autos are doing great. Knee high with many side branches and slightly larger buds than the photos. Go autos!

Evening Fella! Glad you got your truck back, and great news that they survived the frost(and still have a large appetite:D)! All sounds good, at the mo...:peace:

Yea, it is a day by day kind of thing. They passed the first test with flying colors. Now I know that just heavy frost is not a problem, I will be watching for a night in the 20s. Last year they withstood 25degrees but not 22. I was suprised at the burst of growth they are putting on in these low temps. I think the high most of last week was in the low 50s. The photos and the autos are ignoring the weather equaly well. Go mj!
