Mephisto Genetics Plants per square foot?

Being crowded, having a jungle, is a problem I'd welcome.

Be careful what you wish for.
I constantly put myself into the overcrowded jungle situation to get variety, and it's not fun.
Drop a RH/Temp meter? You might have to wait until you harvest to find it.
Problem with a hard to reach plant? You might have to wait til harvesting plants in front of it to do anything about it.
Trying to grow a plant in 1.5 square feet of surface area, such as 6 plants in a 3' x 3' tent, will not allow the plants to spread out the way they would like.
That stresses both the plants and the grower.
I just tried 6 in a 3' x 3', and the yield per plant and total yield were worse than with 4 plants.

To me, the main limiting factor is tent space. In a tent, the yield per plant is irrelevant as a primary measure of productivity. Yes, big plants are best to grow, if you have the space. But I don't think the buds are any less potent or different from mid-sized or even small plants.

I jam 8 plants in a 12.5 sq. ft. tent, about 1.5 sq. ft./plant and generally get about 3 oz./plant or 2 oz./sq. ft. You got ≥12 oz. from 3 plants, ≥4 oz./plant (excellent growing), but how much space in the tent did just these 3 plants take up? To beat growing at 2 oz./sq. ft. rate, your growing space for 12 oz. would have to have been smaller than 6 sq. ft., such as 2 x 3 ft. Fitting 3 plants averaging ≥1/4 lb. each in that space seems unlikely, with plants yielding over 3 oz. each in my experience taking up more tent space proportionately as they hit 4 oz. and higher/plant, suggesting you likely got lower yield per used tent space.

Hey guys ..mostly lurking the forums and picking up lots of good gardening know-how

Hope this idea is interesting..

Under each 2gal/8l pot I put a 6 inch metal circular Lazy Susan bearing (cost £10/$20 on Amazon)
sandwiched between pot saucers

So In my tent where I have front and back rows
It helps that I can rotate every plant
with the just tips of my fingers

Tho biggest improvement to accessibility I’ve made was getting diff shape tent..
It was square ..now It’s now 2x4 with a large door on longer side
there’s much less brushing against side of narrower door
and less leaning-in because it’s not so deep
Goes nice and flat against a wall

Thanks again for keeping good ideas circulating on the internets guys

I've done 2 grows in a 4x4 with 4 plants in a 15L autopots. They've each got to be quite an unruly jungle with one plant somewhat suffering with a lower yield. But I was hoping to get more of a variety to choose from. I'm thinking this next time running only 3 to give me a little more space and more light penetration.

Well, here's what I'm dealing with at the moment. This is the only 2 right now, (minus the little one in the back getting harvested this week) and they keep stretching. If I had 4 in there I'd probably be in trouble..lol.

I do three plants in a 4x3 ,water farms,600 watt light and that's to many,I do two now and it's a whole lot better,I've got some grape stomperxstardawg going at the moment but then it will be back to the autos

"It's a whole lot better" with 2 vs. 3 plants in terms of what? Quality, potency, yield, appearance? Convenience, easier, less work?
