Ok so I check today and she grew a little but her leaves have blackish brownish spots on her.... There not circles but odd shapes.. Also she has one red tip on her leaf and her new baby leaves coming in have red tips PLEASE HELP!
im on my first grow so ive no idea what that is, but before the pros come in youll need to give them the following info mate:
what medium, what temps/humidity, what are you feeding, what is your ph going in and ph of runoff and i just smoked so cant remember the rest but thats a good start lol
Yes, more information needed as well as a picture of the whole plant taken in natural light. What soil, nutes, pH of feeds, pH of run off, fed how often, age of plant?
I don't know how to measure PH so I've just been giving spring water... She's 20 days old.. I have her 1/4 of MG all purpose a week ago.. She's in black magic soil in a 3 gallon pot... I only fed her one time and that was last weekend and before that she never had any nutes in her life.. Also I water her 1 cup of water every 4-5 days but I haven't watered her in a week do to me being gone.. She needs water now but I need to figure out what I need to had the water to save her. I read it could be boron deficiency or lack of phosphorus but please give me some advice! Should I give her some flowering nutes? There 15-30-15 so it's got some good phosphorus..
I can't help to diagnose without more information as previously mentioned. However, I see you have sand in your medium. Did you have a pest issue (fungus gnats) that encouraged you to add the sand, or is it preventative? Also, did you wash the sand before applying to the top of your pots?
edit: Just noticed Muddy was here already. Listen to the man, I highly respect his input.
Sorry Savin about the input part. I was typing up my post at the same time as you and did not see the reply. When you say MG all purpose, do you mean miracle grow? 20 days old is a little young to start hitting her with any nutrients in my opinion. I personally dont like to start feeding until around 35 days unless I see signs that she is hungry. For future reference, always wash the sand with ph neutral water before applying. It can sometimes wreck havoc with your ph. Don't feel like I am beating you up or anything, we all had to start somewhere. No such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers. Toke on buddy!
Thanks man. Yes miracle grow all purpose. So is she gonna die :'( she's my lil buddy.. And I fed her only cause from what I read everyone say feed after 15 days. I only gave her 1/4 tsp to a gallon.. And everything I read it says my plant might have lack of phosphors.. Any advice what I should do? Should I feed her?? Or just straight out water her?? Please any advice would help. Really don't wanna lose my baby.
Can I ask if you mixed anything into the soil before planting such as perlite or vermiculite??
If not I would suggest any stunted growth you may be witnessing is caused by the roots struggling to penetrate far enough into the medium. I may be wrong but the same thing happened to me where I planted straight into soil with no goodies to improve air flow and the plant grew no higher than 10'' in its whole life.
This I presume would also cause phosphorus problems, again, I may be wrong, just throwing ideas out there.
