New Grower Plz could someone help?

PS- ...I don't think this is a defc. at all bro', nor mites... symptoms are all wrong... Ca defc. spots are tan, due to dead/dying tissue; these have a more bleached appearance on the upper surface, and the bottom is just plain weird... I do not like the looks of those green rings around the spots,... my first impression was thrip damage, but the rings have me thinking,... darker possibilities... I want to show this to a true guru here, JM, in Admin... just to be sure, have you looked around for bugs besides mites? thrips are not as small, and very mobile -- this dash would be a decent size one (-)...other vermin are a possibility too, even microbial... my worry brother, is a possible virus...mind you, just possible,.... any tobacco or other plants exposed to your girls? *** okay, I'm gonna see about having JM take a look,... my be a little while, so hang tough meantime!

It doesn't so much look like a Cal/Mag deficiency, however the first couple pictures you posted looked EXACTLY the way my leaves looked when I had a mite infestation, however, from what I've read, other bugs can cause these types of spots.. Cal/Mag usually presents itself in larger, much more noticeable spots, and IIRC, your leaves wouldn't be quite as resiliently green.. Perhaps I'm off, but have you checked the under side of your leaves for little white spots/spheres?? Spider mites and other creatures lay their eggs underneath the leaves..

I would rule out insects first, as they can kill a plant in a day, versus a deficiency is something you can correct over time..

i think its cal / mag too... rule that out with molasses and epsom as advised. look close with a magnifier for insects / eggs on underside of leaf to be sure. :smokeit:

lol derrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. I suppose I should have read the rest of the last page before I posted... Thanks JM!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the comments, i haven't done anything to the 2 plants yet, im gonna try adding alittle epsom salts later or in the morning' i guess im waiting to see if any other symtoms which would go hand in hand with a cal def shows up aswell? I will pull the plants out of my room later so im able to look at them under a normal light to check for bugs, eggs etc...

mix 1/4 teaspoon of epsom 1/4 tsp of molasses in 1 quart water (or a liter) and use as a fioliar feed (for Mag / Cal) for faster recovery, if thats what it turns out to be. also do the soil drench of molasses / epsom.... but the foliar will be absorbed in 15 min to 1/2 hr.... and anything youput on roots needs at least 2 days before it starts to actually show up in th plant.
