Can you pollinate your feminized plants and have normal auto seeds? I am not asking "can I pollinate my fem seeds to get more fem seeds." I know that is not the case as you must treat the seeds in something(colloidal silver?) to make that happen. I am asking, can I take pollen from my (random male autoflower) and pollinate my (random feminized autoflower) to get healthy (non hermie) auto seeds? Also what would be recommended reading for someone who wanted to get started doing things with crossing strains and making seeds? Thanks =)

sure you can

as for where and what to read , go to the breeding section , lots to soak in

peace

Generally speaking yes....in SOME cases where the CS treatment was not done strong enough or the genetics of the strain are to blame, it might result in hermi-prone offspring, but as a general rule, yes it works....and is a perfectly viable method of making more seed....also, pollen can be stored for potentially years in the deep freezer, thawed and used when you find a good prospective mother to pollinate.

ive never heard of "where the CS treatment was not done strong enough" it could cause hermies , could you hit us up with any sources to that ?

thanx in advance and peace

edit : the op is useing natural male pollin now on feminized females , so c.s isnt a factor anyway

If the origianal mother has hermi tendencies, you will likely find hermi's in her offspring. But, if the mother is well bred from genetics that to not tend to hermi, pollinating a female with pollen from quality genetics (not hermi prone) will not increase the tendency.

This. ^^^

sure, b0b...gimme a day or so to dig the link out....will post it here...
using a less than optimal cs treatment CAN sometimes just screw with the plants genetics....amplifying latent or non-dominant tendencies I think.

I believe that this is what I was looking for.
Bob, I will check out the breeder's section and see what they have going on there.
