Grow Mediums Popping my grow cherry

Is it only on the cotyledon (seed leaf)? The pics are kinda blurry cant tell.

Ya just on the tip. The rockwool was phd before hand. Oh well gonna let it ride. I figure another day or two and into there new homes

Turns out It was a ph issue. I took the other two cubes that won't give me any love and squeezed out the water, tested the ph and it was 8! Wtf! I guess I need to be a bit more paranoid in the future when using rockwool and take my time. So.. I set the cubes on a paper towel and this evening ill give them say a 5 second dunk 1/3rd up the cube unless anyone has a better idea, I figured id let the rockwool wick up what it needs. Plain ro water phd to 5.5 is the plan.

That might be your problem right there, plain RO water isn't very stable with pH. Mix a little of RO with a little calmag to 125-150 PPM. Then adjust pH.

That's why it's important to use calmag with RO not only it adds back the calcium and magnesium to the water, it also buffers the water so the pH stays more stable.

If you squeezed out the rockwool cubes, you may want to let them dry out a little bit before completely saturating them. I read that the interior structure of the rockwool cubes can be damaged significantly if you squeeze them. Its possible they don't have the same ability to retain air as they would when they are brand new. To be safe, make sure that they aren't totally soaked so there is some air in there so they dont drown.

Just an update, the seedling coloring is back to normal, and have been put into there new homes and the second mh light has been kicked on. I installed an indoor/outdoor thermo hygrometer in the tent so I can monitor temp and humidity from my room, just waiting for everything to level out before I make any further adjustments. The root system on the seedlings is still quite small, so I'm pouring a weak nute solution over them once a day. There's enough water in the bottom to allow for the air stones to run and provide humidity, my hopes are the roots will reach for the water, and when they start to emerge from the bottom of the net pots ill fill the buckets and run them the way they are meant to be ran.
