Grow Mediums possible root problems. please help

hi guys i need some advice. after doing everything wrong imagineable my plants are now looking pretty healthy but at some point over the last while my roots have changed colour. im sort of colour blind so cant really tell what colour this is. looks the same as the rockwool cube to me so just asumed it was being dyed from that and ignored it. id asume that if this was pythium it mustve taken a while to get like that and id have some pretty sickly plants by now but its worrying none the less. ive got my grow room specs over the camera so the colour should be fairly accurate. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated folks. thanks in advance.

ESM I have absolutly no experience in DWC growing, I'm sure someone with experience will respond soon. @Muddy can you take a look at this.

It could be your nutrients. A lot of lines using A & B color one so you can tell the difference. I was using House & Garden and their A has a redish tint to it. The roots would then take on a bit of the color. It never hurt the plants or effected the grow, they just weren't pure white. Your plant looks good, so I wouldn't be too concerned unless you start to see the roots turn brown or see slime forming on them. If you're running sterile you might want to take a look at a product from Cultured Solutions called UC Roots. It will prevent most common root issues and your roots will be pearly white.

thanks guys ive had a couple other folk get back to me aswell. nute staining seems to be the general consensus. phew : ) its not very often my colour blindness causes me issues. its a good job i can see greens no problem lol.

I think your good man my roots got a bit of stain issuing for duo A & B. Plants look good they will definitely let you know if there is a problem
