Hey guys we wanted to announce that we are officially shutting down Pot Pro's (www.potpros.net) on March 1st.
We had a lot of momentum and ambition when we came up with the idea and it seemed like a good iron to keep hot in the fire but ultimately proved to be too much of a burden for staffing and keeping it active. Rather than let it sit and spasm out any longer than it already has we've decided that on March 1st, 2017 the forum itself will be taken down and the site itself repurposed for other ideas.
We regret to inform you guys that unfortunately the posts/threads will not be transferable over to AFN. We know that's a big pain in the ass for those of you that have posted over there and we offer our apologies for the time spent, but we now have our Photo Period section brought back here on AFN and three Global Moderators helping to cover it and come up with new ideas for it. We're also starting to test photo period strains for several seed breeders/vendors now as well so we'll be keeping the product testing here AFN with our Cannazone Test Group! If you do need any pictures or anything like that though, we do encourage you to grab them now as once March 1st rolls around, the Pot Pro's forum (just Pot Pro's) will not be accessible.
Appreciate all the work and time that was put into Pot Pro's to try to keep it alive but we're confident this is the best move for us in terms of staffing and energy spent and that we can do just as good a job with a photo section here on AFN as we could with a site dedicated to it.
