Hey guys, I have a question about the sweetness in plant aroma/odor from the reviews I've been reading on the forum.

I'm not really familiarized with the smell of weed, but I do smell a piney/pinecone-like smell off customers and when I work on their vehicles. Is that the basic smell of weed? Or is that like under-quality stuff?

I was wondering if there are any seeds that has nothing but a sweet or fruity aroma/odor? Kind of like spraying one of those air fresheners. Or is there no such thing?

I know SweetSeeds have sweet aromas (obviously), but are there any select types which have a 100% sweet smell?

:help:

P.S. I know there are Carbon Filters and such, but I was wondering if I could not use those and have no pressure/strain on my PC fans. I want to create a nice smelling room when guests and friends comes by.

Well... There appears to be no such thing as a pure sweet aroma/odor plant.
However, I have found a forum site with some critical information for those who has or will ask the same similar question (low odor, sweet, fruity, no odor, etc.).

If you scroll towards the bottom, where a person named Tabbatha wrote something about our senses to these plants.

You will not find a strain that smells good enough no one will be able to tell its cannabis, their are tons of low odor sweet smelling strains especially autos tend to be more fruity and low smell compared to photos. I had a polar express that smelled like nothing at all but it did smell like a plant. regaurdless if someone smells the fruitest of the fruit strain they will still smell cannabis undertones. And the pincone smell I've never smelled that before. How much experience do you have with cannabis? Do u have any buddies that endulge?

Ah...Thank you for the reply.
TBH, I really don't have any experience with cannabis. I've been brainwashed ever since I could remember, and that marijuana is a drug that's worse than any other drug in the world.

I don't personally know any who does. Nor do I even consume it either (I've stated that in my introduction for reasons), at least not yet anyways.

I have gotten interested in it only 3 years ago, after I got out of the military, and after I've read a lot of information and research, that marijuana is not as bad as I thought.

I've also read on some forums where there are people out there who enjoys growing, but won't consume any of what they have grown.

The only experience with the smell of marijuana is from where I work. I work at a tire company, which customer's cars gets pulled into my work area, and many times they have their windows rolled down, or it is so strong it leaks out of the car, and I can smell it that way.

Odor control is something to consider even if you are a legal grower simply because high quality cannabis has a pungent and even offensive aroma. If you are a connoisseur, you will learn to love those strong aromas, but most people wouldn't want to be around it for any length of time. My wife rarely partakes and her only prior experience is with Mexican brick weed many years ago. That is the smell that she associates with marijuana, along with many others who only smoked crap weed when they were young. I have ground up a properly cured strain that I've grown and had people in the room with no idea what they were smelling. Obviously they know they're smelling something strong, but it's not the musty, dirty smell that many of them think of as the 'pot smell'. But there's a reason why some strains have names like skunk, cat piss, and diesel, and while us enthusiasts know and appreciate what those smells mean, most people with no cannabis experience would just wonder what's stinking up the place. :smoke:

I wrote a reply, but then got frowed out! So I`ll just say that no matter what it smells like like, if it smells strong...it will attract attention.Strong smelling herbs, lavender/any highly perfumed plants a nice steady breeze seem to work best(outside) imho...:peace:
