3 Auto Mazar seeds added to the mix
Yesterday night when I went into a bit of a tail spin re the non germination of my 3 Blue AutoMazar seeds, I threw 3 AutoMazar seeds into a glass of bottled water.
They had all sunk tonight when I checked, so I have now planted them into soil.
I am determined to grow and harvest 4 plants for summer so this is my backup in case the BAM seeds don't make it.
And the weather here is warming up nicely so looking forward to my grow. Just wish the growshop was not 2 hours drive away.

I see two of the BAM seeds peeking through. I can see the cotyledons with their hats still on, fingers crossed.

It's not looking good for the BAM seeds. Gently teased the shell off the cotyledons yesterday. One of the sprouts was brownish green and twisted/deformed and the other one was green but both had really tiny tap roots. Carefully put them back in the soil tap root down. Today the deformed looking one seems to be shrivelling up. The other one still looks alive but no change/ growth. No sign of the 3rd BAM seed.
my 3 AutoMazar seeds have not sprouted yet but will give at least another week before I start worrying.

The Buddha Purple Kush seems totally chilled outside. Bless her - she is only a foot tall, seeing as I stunted her due to overly early start/cold.
She is now my test run plant, my guinea pig if you like. Hopefully by the time my AutoMazar seeds are ready to go into the ground I will be more of an expert at this.

AutoMazar Day 1 - We have Life!
So 2 of the AutoMazars have sprouted, the 3rd one is peeking through but not quite out.
One of the The Blue AutoMazars that sprouted has shrivelled and is on its way out. The second one is still alive but appears to be doing nothing, 3rd one has not bothered to show up for the party at all
first photo, seedling in the paper cell is the Blue AutoMazar at day 3 - things are not looking very good.

Buddha Purple Kush today. She looks pretty happy, but something is chewing on the leaves. Could not have a proper look at the underside of the leaves because it was drizzling when I went out to look at her. Will have a better look tomorrow.

The 3 AutoMazar seedlings
So all three are happy 5 days on. Watered the compost for the first time yesterday as I had wanted it to dry well before first watering. Growshop guy does not have BioBizz root juice so tomorrow will buy what he has got which is Plagron power roots, to give them a boost while they remain in the pots. Have not decided whether to put them into the ground at 3 or 4 weeks. Opinions are welcome and appreciated.

Larry, Curley & Moe
My 3 AutoMazar are doing great even though I only have them in 6 hours direct sun for the moment. Strong winds and crazy sun/heat doesn't usually work for other seedlings so I am going to assume that Canna plants are no different.
I watered with Plagron Power Roots this afternoon. They will be left unattended for 5 days but weather forecast says it will rain Tuesday so hopefully they will be okay.
